✿ℎazℯℓ - thℯ ℛock Cℎick ℱairy✿ (haze09) | 4 comments I'm looking for YA books wherein the guy love interest is extra smart. Like Matt in Flat-Out Love. Any ideas? I think i'll remember some later on but for now, please help me out. It's for my 18 year old cousin.

Heidi A lot of John Green books have a geeky male lead. I just read Ready Player One and loved it. Lola and the Boy Next Door is also a good one.

Awesomevegan (AKA JenReads) (awesomevegan) | 325 comments I second John Green. I also like Sam in Shiver (musician who loves reading and works in a book store), Dash in Dash & Lily's Book of Dares (another bookworm) and/or Nick in Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist (socially awkward music geek). I am always drooling over the nerdy boys so I am happy to help. Some others on my TBR list with nerdy boys and nerdy themes are:
Seth Baumgartner's Love Manifesto (creates a podcast about love)
Geektastic: Stories from the Nerd Herd(short stories by celebrated "nerd" authors such as John Green)
The Perks of Being a Wallflower (described in one synopsis as "never been popular and always thinking")

I am sure there are more and if I can think of any I will add them.

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments I agree with John Green and recommend specifically Looking for Alaska because it's still my favorite. Also agree with Ready Player One (nerdiest book ever in some ways) and White Cat.

I know there are more but my brain is drawing a blank for some reason.

They are graphic novels and quite good. Very nerdy as well. I have not finished reading all of them though. Thanks for the reminder!

Jeann (Happy Indulgence) (happyindulgence) | 7 comments Not a YA book but if you like paranormal reads, the Georgina Kincaid series starting with Succubus Blues (Georgina Kincaid, #1) by Richelle Mead has the main love interest as a nerdy writer :) plus the series is awesome which is a plus.

Michelle (FabBookReviews) (fabbookreviews) | 13 comments Julie Halpern's Into the Wild Nerd Yonder by Julie Halpern has a very sweet and very intelligent male love interest. :)

Faith McKay (faithmckay) | 15 comments Oh Heidi, I loved Ready Player One! Such a fun book! :)

And yeah, I'd recommend Looking for Alaska, and I Going Bovine--although with Going Bovine I think I should mention that the book was "too weird" for a lot of people. I loved it, though :)
