Colleen (crynski) Hi, my name is Colleen and I am a mystery/thriller addict. I enjoy several different subsections of mystery/crime/thrillers, police procedural, detective, and forensics are usually my favorites. I love Craig Johnson, Michael Connelly, Jonathan Kellerman (could never really get into Faye's books), Lori Armstrong, J.T. Ellison, Lincoln Child, Lee Child, Kate Ellis, Deborah Crombie, and Margaret Coel just to name a few. My good reads profile shows a lot of the diversity in what I read. I do also enjoy urban fantasy if it has kind of a mystery twist to it, like the early Dresden files books, Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series, and Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson.
I recently discovered the joy that is Bouchercon, and this year it will be nearby in Cleveland Ohio. At the last Bcon I met some of my favorite authors, and discovered a ton of new ones. I think I brought home 35 books between give aways, purchases, and auction wins.
My primary means of "reading" is audiobooks, because there was a giant hole in my life when I didn't have time to sit and read thanks to the demands of my job. Now I am a kindle owner and have managed to work some actual reading back into my life, but I listen to as many as 2 or 3 books per week. I was pointed to good reads as a way of keeping track of the number of books I actually read in a year, and now I am addicted. As someone said to my roommate "its like facebook for nerds". I like being a nerd.

Keri (keri_45) | 98 comments Hi Colleen and welcome. You are in good company here. I too love CJ, Lincoln C and Lee C. Also love Mercy T and can't wait for Charles and Anna's book coming in Feb...I think.

Colleen (crynski) Feb or March, I think it comes out around my birthday in March. If you like Briggs' books you should try the Jane Yellowrock books, they are kinda fun and she kicks butt.

I cant believe I forgot to mention Robert Crais (who was the guest of honor at Bcon, and a super SUPER nice guy).

Welcome and glad to see another Jane Yellowrock fan. I 'found' her not long after I got my Kindle 3 months ago and now have all of the series.
