I began watching this show back in October 2011, I believed they started re-airing it around Halloween; then it disappeared, and has just returned last week! I know it can come off at first, somewhat cheesy:) But I love it! Those who have never heard of it... it is a Nickelodeon teen soap opera that originally aired (I believe New Years day in 2011...I could be wrong)...it is based off a Dutch Nickelodeon show, called Het Huis Anubis. It is filmed overseas, and it is about eight(nine now I believe) teens who live in a private boarding school in the United Kingdom. The show deals, with their friendships, they fall in love(Nina and Fabian:) and there is a mystery. When Nina(the girl from America) arrives, one of the former students, Joy disappears, and soon after there is a race to discover what happened to Joy and what is the Headmaster's secret, which has alot to do with ancient Egypt!
There was a book series based on the show but at first it was only offered in Dutch, and was a little pricey(offered through Amazon UK) But now I believe it can be found at Barnes and Noble.com,(The American version is not very expensive). The book is basically a novelization of the show. But for Tweens it will be a great light read!
Anyway, love the show. Also, I have begun watching the second season, and I just love Fabian and Nina, and I really like the Amber character!:)
