What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I'm trying to remember a book I read somewhere between grades 3-6. It would be along the lines of The Giver or Fahrenheit 451. In it, all the characters needed to clean their clothes (which were bodysuits, I believe) before they entered their houses. When they came through the door, there was a room where they got sprayed down. I think the protagonist may have had a sister.

I'm not sure if it's the same book, but they might have obtained their nourishment by pills, rather than eating.

I also seem to recall that the protagonist gets into a fist fight coming home from school, but I might be mixing this up with another book.
