You'll love this one...!! A book club & more discussion

I just finished this book the other day, and I was so impressed with it. I have had it on my TBR list forever and finally got arund to getting it. The first couple chapters started a bit slow for me, but after that I could not put the book down. It had me guessing the whole time, and the ending totally surprised me. Highly recommend it.

The Thirteenth Tale is on my TBR list, too. I'll get to it soon. Now that you mentioned that it has a surprising ending I'll have to get to it sooner then I planned!

I've been wanting to read this book for a long time. Now I really need to pick it up....love those surprise endings!

All day? I just want to be able to sit and read for longer than 30 minutes without a little voice asking me what I am doing (my 2 year old).

I went browsing around, in hopes that she has something else coming out soon, but I haven't come across anything yet. I too really hope she comes out with something else, I love her writing.

Yes this is one of my absolute favourite books - I loved it so much. Unfortunately I made the stupid mistake of getting rid of it after I'd finished, so I'll have to get myself another copy....

I quite liked this novel as well. Someone called it a love letter to literature, especially Gothic lit, and I think this is so true. I don't want to give anyone inappropriately high hopes for the novel, but it is entertaining and hard to put down. :)

I read this book as a new release in one sitting over Christmas Eve into Christmas day. When my sister arrived on Boxing Day, I loaned it to her to read, but there was a catch. I never told her what it was about and kept the dust jacket. She passed it around her book club the same way, no dust jacket and no telling what it's about. All reports came back that it was much loved by all!

I'm glad to hear good reviews of this book! It is next on my list of books to read! I'm now even more excited to read it :)
