Emma strolled in and sat down at the foot of Logan's bed and waited for him to regain consciousness.

Logan groaned as he slowly regained consciousness. He could feel a weight on the bottom of the bed he lay in, which could only mean he wasn't alone. He opened his eyes, slowly, until his eyes adjusted to the light, and saw Emma sitting on the bottom of his bed.

"Hey. How are you feeling?" she asked.

"Like I got hit on the back of the head with a stunning spell." He said, wincing as his head pounded.

"What the hell happened?" she asked.

He sighed. "We got ambushed. We had Bellatrix and Karkaroff and then Yaxley got us from behind." He shook his head, but winced in pain as the movement sent another wave of throbbing pain shooting into his brain. "Don't worry, you'll have my full report on your desk as soon as I'm able to think straight for longer that 5 minutes." He added.

"Alright," she said. "You still want the case or do you want me to get a transfer?"

He chuckeled darkly. "You know me better than that. Have you ever known me to give up on a case just cause it got hard or because someone got hurt?"

"No, just standard protocol," Emma said. "Also, we have very little information on the matter, adding a greater danger aspect."

"Yeah." He agreed.

"When do you want to come back to work?" Emma asked.

"When do you want me to come back to work?" He asked her, a small smile tugging his lips.

"As soon as you're discharged, if possible," Emma said. "However, if you don't feel up to it, don't worry about it."

He chuckeled, "I'll be back as soon as I'm discharged." He promised.

"Alright, I'll keep you posted in the meantime," Emma said, standing up. "Feel better soon," she said before walking out of the room.

"Thanks." He called after her as she left.

Jace entered the room a few minutes later. "Hey dad. How are you feeling?" He asked, sitting down on a chair next to the bed.

"Feeling better." Logan said, busy getting up. "I just got discharged, but I have another case to work on, so I have to get back to work." He said, pulling his shirt over his head.
Once he was dressed, he and Jace left.

" wait Logan! There was a mistake!" Nurse evergreen called after them.

He turned just as he was about to leave. "Yes?"

"Your not allowed to leave yet, the doctor wants to make sure you dont have any brain damage." The nurse says, happily.
