Daniel walked over to her bed, and put his hands over her heart. He swore he felt something.
"Um...are you sure? I feel something. Come here, put your hands where mine are." He said, gesturing for him to come closer.
Daniel realized there probably wasn't much time. He whispered an incantation and a green light came into his hands. This was the hardest part. He put his hands right over her wound, and started the healing process.
Standing there for a moment, a glint, only a small flicker, of hope hit Haden in the heart. Coming closer, as if he thought it was possible, he resisted the urge to smack Daniels hand away from her, but only waited for him to remove it so he could put his in the exact same spot.
Please River? I promise you, I'll leave with you tonight, and run forever... Just as long as you come back to me. He thought, holding back tears again.
Daniel started the healing process, and he sat on the edge of the bed, looking for a sign.

Haden looked at him blankly. Here he was, lying his hands on his girlfriend, calling him sir, while still rewuesting that Haden keep it causal between them, and to leave.
The nerve.
But no matter how upset Haden was, he complied to Daniel's request, and shuffled out of the room, feeling like an undead-dead person. Sighing, he threw his body down into a chair outside the door, and waited.

Raising an eyebrow from his chair, he sighed. "You're British. Therefore, you're queer." He said blankly, wringing his hands,
"And I'm a nurse too, for the record. I know how it goes."
What was going on in that room?! He sighed, and chewed on his lip, trying to calm the rising anxiety in himself.

Daniel sighed a breath of relief. Wiping the sweat off his face, he walked out into the hall where Haden was.
"Okay, I did all I could. And, I'm happy to say she'll make a full recovery. She'll be just fine." He said with a smile.
For a moment, Haden sat perfectly still, staring at the boy in front of him. Blinking, he finally stood and walked into the room, shutting the door behind him, and charming it to stay so he could have a bit of alone time with her.
He didn't expect her to be very happy, and as he perched on the side of the bed, he couldn't find words.
"River?"
He didn't expect her to be very happy, and as he perched on the side of the bed, he couldn't find words.
"River?"

River couldn't remember anything. She had a really bad headache though. The last thing she remembered is the kiss between her and Haden.
"Haden? What...what the hell happened to me?!" She asked, kind of angry she couldn't remember.
Haden chewed on his lip as he realized doors here couldn't be magically locked. For safty, he assumed. "Haden." He said, and for the first time, he turned slowly, on the bed, and grinned softly, and thankfully to Daniel.
Turning back around, the grin broke into a smile, and he stroked river's cheeck. "It's better that you don't remember, but I'll tell you... You died. Daniel here... He saved you."

*I died!? What?!*
"Wait, I died? How? Haden, tell me what happened, please. I need to know." She said with pleading eyes.
"We went down to the lake, and.." Should he tell her the truth, and risk her doing the same thing over again? He didn't want to, but truth was something he had to have with River. "You found out that they may be taking you back to Azkaban, and you performed the unforgivable curse on yourself... We were able to save you." He said softly, frowning.
He had no idea how much was riding on this, but he couldn't lie to her. He knew she would find out, somehow. He sighed, watching her closely.

"Haden, I've never been to Askaban. Why would I go to Askaban? The most dangerous thing I've ever done is jumping off a bridge into some water. That's no where close to Askaban worthy. And what unforgivable curse? As far as I know, I don't know any of them." River explained, still extremely confused.
"I'm happy I was able to be saved though." She said.
"You told me that..." He raised an eyebrow. "Maybe I heard it wrong." He said, letting it go. It must have been a hallucination!
He stratched his body down the length of the bed, and wrapped her in his arms, kissing her softly. "It's alright. It doesn't matter now. Just stay with me, okay?"
He stratched his body down the length of the bed, and wrapped her in his arms, kissing her softly. "It's alright. It doesn't matter now. Just stay with me, okay?"

"Do you know anything else that I said?" She asked him.
He bit his lip and avoided replying to her question. "Well, I can help you. We can come up witha special potion, and everything will be fine, darling. I promise." He said softly, running his hand through her hand softly, grinning. "Plus, Dr.Queer out there will help you." He said comfortingly, stiffling a laugh.

Haden frowned. "Well, I'm sure he has a great sense of fashion..." He said before getting serious. "Fine, darling..." He said, taking his wand from his robes pocket. "This will restore each memory. It will seem like you're there again, watching yourself and I, but you'll still be here with me." He took her hand with his, and with the other he rose a wand to her temple and spoke the incantation that would give her back the memory of what had happened that morning.

River watched each moment, looking for the break. It was seamless, meaning it must have happened before she found Haden. She watched as he slowly lost each piece of herself, and then the horror of her own death. The memories stopped, and she looked up at Haden.
"Yeah. Its as bad as a thought. I lost it way before we met up most likely. It was to well planned to be anything spontaneous. I need help, probably medication. Ever since we went down to the dungeons the attacks have been worse. That must have been the breaking point. Haden, I'm so sorry to put you through that. I never meant to worry you, or scare you. I'm so sorry." River said, tears suddenly falling down her face.
Daniel looked down at his watch. It was time for Haden to go. She needed rest. Daniel stood, and opened to door, saying "I'm sorry Haden, but you need to leave now, and River, you need to rest. Come on Haden, I'll see you out." He said, closing the door behind him.
Hadan kiss her slowly, not saying a word, but hoping she might understand through his lips on hers. It's alright. I'll help however I am needed, and I won't leave you River. he said through the kiss. Reluctantly, he stood up and turned to look at Daniel. "Are you coming back to the castle tonight?" He said, surprising himself. Why did he care if the nurse came back with him to the school?
Chewing on his lip, he walked out, waving to River before letting Daniel close the door. "Well are you? I need help getting my wand back, and you seem fit." He said.
Chewing on his lip, he walked out, waving to River before letting Daniel close the door. "Well are you? I need help getting my wand back, and you seem fit." He said.

"And to answer your other question yes, I am going back to the castle to get some supplies, then I'm coming back here to check on River, do a little chatting and see if I can't help her some more. Is that alright by you?" Daniel asked.
He nodded, with an upraised eyebrow. "How did you know my wand was in the lake?" He asked, not remembering Daniel show up until Eiver had already.... And his wand had been long gone since then. "And yes, that's exactly what I'm asking. I'm definitely not plunging into a freezing cold, Giant Octopus obtaining body of water by my self to search for something that may or may not be where I think it is." He said matter-of-factly, crossing his large arms over his chest. "And yes, that's fine."

"Oh fine. Lets go get you stupid wand. I think I have an idea." He said, raising his eyebrows and smirking.
"No, I know what it is. And we'd be together." He said stubbornly, scrunching up his nose and running a hand through his hair, a habbit in any situation. "Yes, we shall. And I have a better one." He said, a wry smile glued to his face.
He thought he might enjoy Daniel's company, even if it was to argue aimlessly with the boy. And, hey, maybe he'd even make a good trouble-maker.
He put a hand on Daniel's shoulder, and aparated with a pop to the lake.

River looked at Haden with tired eyes. She didn't get much sleep. To many nightmares. "Hey, Haden. What are you doing here?" She asked him, already knowing the answer.
"I wanted to see you, of course. Make sure you're okay." He said matter-of-factly, grinning at her. "And Daniel insisted, somewhat. You know, he's not too bad..." He said, joing her on the bed, and stroking some dark hair out of her face. "Also, I needed to speak with you about something." He said slowly, looking anywhere but her eyes.

"Your right, he's not too bad at all. I like him." She said, faking a smile. River took in a big breath. "What do you need to talk about, Haden." she said.
"Well... I'm not sure how much time we'll have left together, love. At least at the castle, because..." he sighed, laying down on the bed, and picking at the crocheted quilt that didn't match the rest of the room at all.
His closed his eyes slowly, and chewed on his lip. "I'm of age to graduate, somehow..." He said softly, bracing himself for something unexpected. This was River of course.

River broke out in laughter. She should have been crying, anything but laughing. But she couldn't help it.
"Oh, Haden. I'm sorry. But I thought you were breaking up with me. Haden, I'll only have one year left after this. And when I graduate, we can be together. And we will be together now until you leave. Unless we break up, which I hope doesn't happen, we won't be apart. I'll run away with you if I have to Haden. I don't mind. I'll go with you, wherever." She said, smiling at him, and hugging him. "Okay? So please, don't worry about us being apart." She said, kissing him softly.
What?!
He smiled and kissed her back, loving the taste of her lips. Haden had kissed many girls in his short span of seventeen years, but she was by far the best kiss he'd ever had. "Okay, good darling... I don't want to be away from you. And we're not breaking up." He said simply, smiling at her.
"And in other, better, news. I brought you these!" He said, pulling her bed-table over, and taking wand out to zap a vase of white roses, and a small plush figure of a creature with wings and a small, pointed hat, dressed in blue.
"It's a pixie. I thought you'd like it. Just a gift." he said smiling. "Although I'd be careful... It had a warning tag for containing a ture pixie... I don't know." His dark eyebrows knit together.

"If that thing has a pixie in it, I'm suffocating you after I suffocate it." She said, playfully wagging her finger at him. "But thank you." She said, kissing him, wrapping her arms around his neck.
He smiled and chuckled at her. "A jar. That seems a little harsh doesn't it? They're cute little things. And it's only an egg." He joked, not even knowing how Pixies gave birth, or if they did at all.
He welcomed her kiss warlmy, sitting on the edge of the bed, and putting both hands on either side of her hips, and pulling her up to him, gently falling back on the bed under her, beginning to kiss her deeper.

River shuttered when Haden pulled her closer to him, held on to her hips, and kissed her deeper. She had never experienced anything like this sensation. Her hands explored, finally finding his shirt hem. She pulled one it, signaling she wanted it off him. Now. Her instincts took over, and she broke the kiss, just enough time to rip her own shirt off herself, and taking his mouth back, still on top of him, which she never really noticed until then. She was totally unaware of the signal her heart was sending to Daniel.
Shocked, Haden watched her remove her shirt, and reposition herself on him, and there was no way in Hades he was going to keep his on too. He took the gray thing off before he layed her down on the mattress, a hand under her head. "You're beautiful." he said softly, uttering the same words he had the day they met. He connected his lips with hers again before he lowered his body down to hers, careful not to crush her with his weight, and felt her soft skin on his.

Daniel finally reached the door. He slung the door open, ready for the worst. Then he saw River's half naked body underneath Hadens almost half naked body. Daniel stood, wide eyed. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry guys. I got an alert her heart rate picked up, I thought something was wrong. I'll leave you be now! Sorry!" He said quickly, nervously, closing the door almost as quickly as it opened.
River screamed when Daniel threw the door open, but them went quiet when she realized who it was. She started to giggle from his nervousness. "Its okay Daniel!" She yelled as he closed the door. She looked back up to Haden, giggling again.
He had broken their kiss and stared at Daniel, blush filling his face, and a embarrest smile joing it. He looked down at River when he closed the door, and let out a breathy laugh. "A gun?" He asked, not understanding her at all.
But before she could answer, he kissed her again, and rolled off of her carefully to sit on the edge of the bed, and curse as tried to get the zipper on his pants down, but no matter how much he tried, it just wouldn't go down.
He cursed softly again, and wiggled out of them, a hard action. "Alright." he said grinning at her as the black denim fell to the floor, and he crawled back to her, taking up his former postition.
"Where were we again?" He asked, his voice a few octives lower than it was before, and his British accent a little bit stronger as mischief sparkled in his eyes.
((Oh! oh, I have an idea! Have her ask him if he's has sex before, and then get mad when he says yes! Pretty pretty please!))

Closing his eyes, he sighed. "Yeah, that's alright." He said rolling off of her to the other side on the bed. "From looking at me? Do I look like I've had sex before? I mean, I have, but..." He trailed off when she stood and got dressed, trying to calm himself down.
Cursing on the inside, he bit his lip and shifted himself on the bed, pulling on the quilt again. "You're different, River."
Cursing on the inside, he bit his lip and shifted himself on the bed, pulling on the quilt again. "You're different, River."

"Don't be pissed off at me because I won't have sex with you. And I have a right to act a little different. I almost died for Merlins sake." She said, crossing her arms, smoke almost fuming from her ears.
Haden rose and eyebrow, and grinned. "Yes." He said simply as he made his way to the end of the bed, and rose up on his knees until he was level with her face. "That's exactly why, but it's not bad, love." He said softly as he watched her face.
He admired that she wouldn't go so far with him in such a short time of their relationship. Yeah, he was bummed, and wished their encounter would have continues, maybe just the tiniest bit, but he wasn't going to push her. "Calm down. I'm not mad at you, love, I'm grand."

"Oh Haden, I'm sorry for snapping at you so quickly. I'm on some medication Daniel prescribed for me, he said all my other crazies would lower, but my mood swings could increase. Looks like they did...just a little." She said, giggling. Eyes getting heavy, she said, "Haden, I'm tired. Could I go to sleep now?" She said, yawning.
Daniel looked down at his clock, "Three hours. Time to go." He said to himself. Daniel opened the door slowly, and said, "Is it all clear? 'Cuz Haden, you've gotta go, visiting time is over, mate. Come one." He said, again closing the door behind him.
Haden was brisktly rushed out of the room, but not before he gave Daniel a dirty look, dressed, and kissed River, like the night before, but with more passion this time. "I'll be back." He had whispered in her ear, before Daniel shut the door, severing the connection of their locked eyes.
"I hope you didn't get any queer ideas when you saw me shirtless." He joked, nudging Daniel in the side. "Besides, I know a guy. He's queer too, and I bet you'd have a gey time!" He smiled, laughing at his joke, hoping Daniel wouldn't take him seriously as they walked down the hall, and away from River's room.

"Well, I'm not so sure I want to start up any, queerness with anybody right now. I just got out of a pretty serious relationship. But, I'd love to meet him. Maybe we can just be friends. Or maybe he just won't be able to keep his hands off this amazing rock hard....butt." He said, laughing. They reached the elevator, and he pushed the down button for Haden.
"Its good to see you Haden, but you gotta go. I'll be here with River if you need anything, and I'll come get you if anything changes with her. Okay? Goodbye mate." He said, walking back towards Rivers room, waving at Haden behind him.
Rolling his eyes and repressing a laugh, he nodded. "Sure, you're butt. His name's Micheal, I think. He's friends with Abi, and she's always liked him a lot." He smiled, and stepped into the elevator, wondering why a place like this needing something so Muggle-ish.
"Watch over her for me. Bye!" He said as the doors closed and he went down the shaft, his head getting slightly fuzzled and dizzy, being unused to the motion of being in an elavator.

Daniel folded his arms when he saw her dressed and ready to leave. He had told her she wasn't ready, but she obviously didn't agree. He wasn't going to give into her, then she shot the eyes. He couldn't say no now, he was just to nice. "Ugh! Fine, but if anything seems wrong, and you don't come see me, I'll kill you. And remember to take your pills, once a day. Okay... go." He said, opening the door for her, watching her giggle and exit the room.
((We're going to say that upper posts were from before River's suicide, and so, that would be... A few months ago.
Daniel has left.))
Daniel has left.))
Lily peeked into the room, her towel wrapped around her slender waist. her long black hair, dry now, fell in front of her face and she brushed it away a bit irritably.
James had gotten done checking Lily in and he walked up to her newly assigned room, watching her peek in from behind her.
From the main lobby to this floor he'd been thinking about things, and trying to calm his nerves. His parents didn't even know he was engaged yet... How would he tell them about this and not expect them to not have a fit? How was he going to expect himself to be calm?
He loved Lily. God, he loved her. And he... He was okay with thinking of a little girl who looked just like her, with the sage green eyes and beautiful features... He was really okay with that, he realized.
But that didn't make him any less scared.
He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, leaning his head down and kissing her neck softly. "You're signed in. Someone might be up to see us soon." He said.

Lily jumped a little in surprise when she heard his warm and comforting voice in her ear. she had been lost in her thoughts, and hadnt heard him approach.
"Guess who! And if you don't guess River, I'll stab you." She had said, making even a threat seem sweet and caring.
And then when she'd kissed him and cried.
And then when she'd said she'd loved him right before she-
No! He couldn't bring it to mind.
"We might as well not help her. We can't anyway. She's dead."
