"o-okay." she said softly, walking into the room and sitting down on the bed. she fiddled with her towel nervously, for once comepletely at a loss for words.
James watched her sit and wished he'd gotten her clothes or something from her dorm before they'd come here. "Are you cold?" He asked her, going toward the bed and sitting down, but as soon as he did, he realized he couldn't. He was too nervous, so he stood and started pacing the floors length by the bed. "Is the towel alright? Because I can go out and get you some clothes. Some all new clothes if you want. I could get them at the shop nearby, or I could...." He trailed off, realizing he was babbling.
Lily blinked up at him and admitted "I am a little cold. I could use something to wear besides my towel."
He nodded quickly, and finally sat beside her, wrapping his arms around her gently. "I'll go get you something. While I'm gone, just get under the covers, okay? And you'll be okay." He said, kissing her.
Lily leaned into him, resting her head on his chest for a moment. She was trying hard not to show how scared and nervous and worried she was. "dont take too long." she said softly
He nodded and wrapped his arms around her for a moment longer, closing his eyes and sighing. He really didn't want to leave her, but she needed clothes. He smiled and kissed her again. "Stay here, and stay out of trouble." He said, walking to the door, and begrudgingly leaving the room.
AN HALF AN HOUR LATER
James had stopped by the nearest shop, and grabbed the warmest thing he could find. Lily would like it too. The colors fit her perfectly, and she was bound to be good.
He came back into the room, holding everything in a bag. "Hello, darling." He greeted her, sitting on the bed beside her. "I got your clothes, and a couple other things. I thought you might like a couple chocolate frogs, and I saw a necklace I thought you'd like." He told her, reaching into the bag and pulling everything out. "How are you?"
The doctor stepped through the door at this time.

"Im doing alright James, thank you for getting me everything." she said, looking up as the doctor walked in. She wasnt sure what the doctor would do or say, and not knowing made her more nervous then she was before.
James bit his lip in a nervous manner and nodded, sitting back on the bed. He wondered how she was feeling. Any way she might feel, he felt as if she was pulling away from him.
But he lost train of thought when he noticed the doctor, and he leaned forward, eager to hear what the doctor say.
"I was told that someone might be pregnant. Luckily, I have a nice potion to tell quickly. Do I have the right girl?" The doctor asked, shuting the door behind him and crossing the floor to hold out a small bottle to Lily, filled with a sickly purple colored slim.

Lily nodded and accepted the potion from the doctor, eyeing it with distaste. it looked kind of gross.
James pursed his lips and watched the doctor hand her the bottle, his eyebrows furrowed. The way that stuff looked was... Well, it didn't seem like it would make his TigarLily feel any better. "Um... How's that... Stuff supposed to help us?" He asked the doctor.
The doctor smiled as if he recieved those comments all the time and nodded. "Yes, it will help her a lot. The potion is color sensitive. She's going to take a drink of it, swish it around in her mouth a bit, and spit it out in this little cup, here." He explained, producing a small, clear cup. "And if it turns green, she's not having any babies..." He said. "At least not in the next nine months, unless you two move fast." He told James.

Lily blushed at the last part of the doctors comment, then did as he instructed and swished a little of the potion in her mouth. she spit it out in the cup he provided and wrinkled her nose at the taste.
James' face became more troubled, but he kept his mouth closed and crossed his arms over his chest, proceeding to watch Lily with concern, and ignore the doctor.
The Doctor grinned politely while Lily did as he said, and let the smooth liquid run into the cup. After a moment of holding it in their sight, the color of it changed from a light lavender color to a sickly bubble gum pink, and finally coming to rest at a very light, pale blue. "And, if it turns blue, we're expecting..." He said shortly, standing with his cup. "I'll give you two a moment alone to think." He said, taking his cup and leaving the room.
James simply turned his head and watched Lily closely.

Lily sat, stunned. She didnt notice the Doctor leave. She was pregnant! She didnt know what to think, what to do. And her parents! what would they think!
After a hesitant moment, James leaned his hand on her arm, clearing his throat softly. "Um, darling? Are you okay?"
Lily's mind was still reeling and she didnt seem to hear James when he spoke to her. "I-I'm pregnant." she managed to whisper, still in shock. She wasnt even out of Hogwarts yet! she had no way to support her child, and to make it worse, she knew not how to care for a child!
"I... I know you are." He said, scooting closer to her on the creaky mattress of the bed. His hand went around her waist, as he tried to comfort her. "I'm sorry." He told her softly.
Lily turned and buried her face in his chest, trembling a little. "Its not your fault." she said softly. "I-I'm just....worried, and frightnened. I dont know how to care for a child, or how we could pay for everything it would need."
James grinned at her despite himself or the situation. "Sweatheart, it kind of is my fault." He told her, rwmembering the night in the ballroom. "I'm... I'm not sure how we're going to do this... I could get a job. And we're graduating this year, so we could easily, just... Um. Buy a house. It'll be easier after we're married." He told her, his voice confident and soft, even though he was just as worried as she was.
Lily looked up and kissed him softly on the lips, his words soothing her. "Thank you James. I know you must be just as worried as me....why dont we go to the Halloween party? Forget about our troubles for the moment?" she asked
He kissed back, leaning into her for a moment, wiping some hair out of her face, pushing it behind her ear. "I love you." He told her. "I'm here... But yes, we could do that! I'd love to dance with you, like our first night together." He said, smiling.
The doctor came back in with a few papers. "Sorry to bother you. These are for you to sign, and and the others are for you to take. Of course, there are plans to be made, and we all need to be aware of them!" He said wih a smile, like this was just another day. To him, it was. "Adoption, abortion, or keeping it. Whatever your decision, you'll of course, have to have appointments made, and things figured out." He continued. "We expect you back in a week or so, to check up with everything."

Lily smiled to, then listened to the doctor. Without a seconds hesitation she said "We're keeping the child. I couldnt think to do anything else, regardless of my worries."
James looked over at her, and despite himself, smiled.
The doctor nodded and handed James a bundle of parchment. "If that's the case, then these are for you both to look over and fill out. Thank you for coming- As hard as it is to believe, some teenagers don't even come in when they're in this situation. I guess they don't want to admit it all to themselves, but you two seem very prepared. Thank you." He said, leaving. "Come back on the thirtieth." He said before shutting the door behind him.

Lily sighed, and moved over to look over his shoulder at the parchment, her hair tickling his cheek.
The papers were large, with delicate, sweet scribbled writing covering each side. Spaces for signatures were marked in areas, and James eyed each page before handed it to Lily. He brushed some hair away from her face. "It's just appointment making, and all that good stuff."
Lily nodded and said "Do you have a quil so I can sign?" her voice was soft and quieter than usual. She tucked her hair behind her ear and glanced at him.
((grr...might have to go..unless I can find another computer))

((Lol, that's okay!))
James bit his lip and glanced around the room. "I don't have one, but..." He noticed the drawer in the nightstand beside the bed, and slid over the soft blanket to reach inside, luckily finding a bottle of bright blue ink and an old quill, that had obviously been used quite a bit.

Lily took the quill from him and unstoppered the ink, dipping the quill in and starting to sign her name. Even how she signed her name showed her elegance in the way the letters curved.
"There we are." He said smiling, taking the quill from her after she was done, and signing his name after her, with a much less beautiful scrawl than hers. "We can really look through these later. I have a surprise for you later. But, what about that party now?"
Lily gave a tentative smile. "Yeah, I would like to go to the party now. As long as no firewhiskey is involved." she said with a small laugh.
((check out Lily's profile! its the last one on the list! I updated it and added a pic!))

((I've already read it! I love it. :) ))
He laughed and nodded. "No firewhiskey. We will be sober." He promised, standing up and giving her a hand to raise up with.

((^^ yay! you like the pics?))
Lily grabbed his hand and stood up slowly, then said "you wouldnt have happened to bought us costumes when you went shopping by any chance?"

((I do! I used to draw Anime all the time, and those are really nice.))
"Haha, actually I didn't. We can go pick out some right now if you'd like!" He told her happily. "The parties probably just starting."

"yes! I want to be a pirate!" Lily exclaimed suddenly, leaning against him.

He laughed, and wrapped his arms around her slender waist. "We can be whatever you'd like to be!" He told her happily, reminded of how much he loved her.
((We'll just skip the shopping part if you'd like, and go to the party. :P ))

Lily sat in the room, her ankles crossed. Her belly was more swollen now that she was a few months into her pregnancy. James had been so nice to her, and caring, exactly what she needed right now. She'd been dealing with some pretty big mood swings, and she couldnt seem to stop eating food with chocolate in it. she even put chocolate syrup on her spaghetti last night. On top of that, the morning sickness didnt stay with just the morning. She had evening sickness too, so she was constantly throwing up. She had had to tell the staff that she was expecting so that she could be excused, though after her stomach had started to round and grow bigger, they probably had already pieced it together. Her ankles were swollen too, and so were her feet. It was hard walking with a large stomach on such a petite frame.
James sat beside Lily, mulling through everything the doctor had said to them both. He wasn't sure how this was supposed to go, but after all the things he'd spent hours reading, she was supposed to have their baby in a while. His baby... He was scared and nervous, and afraid he couldn't be a father, but he sat there anyway, grinning slightly at Lily while he held her hand. He was all those things, truly, but he was also happy to be here. He'd been through a lot lately, but he felt more concern for Lily than he did for himself. She was always wobbling around these days, looking a lot more larger than she should, and puking. Anything she ate had some sort of chocolate taste to it, and that, he would admit, made him laugh.
Looking over at her, James smiled. "Well, that was comforting. What he said seemed... Good, you know."

((sorry, it didnt show >.<))
"Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm still nervous about.....you know, the delivery though." Lily said, tucking her hair behind her ear and away from her face. She stared down at her swollen belly and stroked it with her hand. "I can hardly wait to see the little one." she said, a tender smile on her face.

((Haham it's all good)!
James gripped her hand with both of his as she spoke, glad she'd not noticed anything bad from the doctor that he might have overlooked. Both of thr young couple's faces were bright with hope and eagerness for the future. James glanced down at her stomach, and nodded in agreement. "She'll be beautiful," he said, grinning. He thought it was funny- they had decided to keep the gender of the baby a surprise, only to be revealed when it was born, but James had been invisioning a girl since he'd found out that Lily was pregnant. "How are you feeling?"
((Hope it's okay to say they wanted it to be a surprise! I can change it if yoy'd like.)!

((^^ no thats fine! thats what I was implying when I put little one instead of him or her. hehe I havent decided what the gender would be yet anyways))
Lily bit her lip and admitted "like I want watermelon and chocolate...." she sounded sheepish, still not really over her cravings and how weird they sounded.

((Awesome!!))
James grinned as a quiet laugh rumbled at the back of his throat. "Sure, we can go find that." he said, taking her hand. "Lily... Are you nervous?" he asked.

Lily blushed a little, then said, "Yeah, I'm really nervous actually...."
Smiling in relief, James kissed her gently, and pulled away a second later. "I am too. But... We're going to be okay." he told her.
She nodded and said "Yes...I have faith in you James...and I think everything will be okay..." Her stomach rumbled a little and she blushed.
James nodded, smiling down at his love as hope filled their gazes. Everything would be okay. James and lily and their baby would be okay. He assisted her in rising from the bed and opened the door as they left thr building, heading back to the school.
((Where would you like to go now? :) ))
