Gabi Cutayar (gabicutayar) | 8 comments In every book, there's at least one - a visual image moment when the writer creates such a vivid image that it pulls me through a vortex and spits me out in the middle of the setting.

As you read through your books, add your VIM's to this thread ....

Here's my first one:
Linger by Maggie Stiefvater
"The entire room was so yellow that it looked like the sun had thrown up on the walls and wiped its mouth afterwards on the dresser and curtains."

Remember to include the author and the book.

Lauren Smith I loved this line that I recently came across in a strange but excellent sci fi novel where a quantum explosion makes a human being 600-feet tall:
