Mandy | 61 comments Hi All!
I have been given this book and I just wanted to know what you thought about it and should I move it up my 'to read' list...Ta

Julianne | 40 comments I loved this book. I couldn't read it fast enough. It was my favorite out of the three released so far in the series, but they were all good. And then Rapture, the conclusion comes out in June I believe. And Fallen in Love, a book of short stories comes out at the end of this month.

Kate (fictionalkate) | 77 comments On it's own, I didn't really like this book. But it paves the way for the rest of the series - which I enjoyed. I can't wait for the fourth book to come out.

Donna | 2 comments Found all three to be hard work. Torment was the better out of the 3 an easier read towards the end.

Mlpmom (Book Reviewer) (mlpmombookreviewer) | 839 comments I have only read the first although I do plan on reading the others. I liked it, maybe not a favorite but I thought it was a nice read.

Kristina (kristinaf) | 5 comments I didn't care for it. Although I felt the concept itself had some potential(key word being some), I thought it lacked depth. Huge plot gaps, incredibly irritating characters (I might be wrong, but you generally aren't supposed to want the bad guy to kill the girl so you don't have to read any more about her...right?), and on top of all that it was just written poorly. Very poorly.

The only thing I actually liked was the cover.

Being the glutton for punishment that I am, I read the others just to see if maybe Lauren Kate pulled it together. And while there was some improvement, I have to say that no, no she did not. Books like these make me think that somewhere, hidden in a secret lair the League of Super Villainous YA Authors are laughing manically at us all.

Some people love these books, and although I can't understand it, to each her own. I guess I just fall squarely in the 'hate it' column. ;)

Mandy | 61 comments Thanks for you opinions guys, I really appreciate it. I think I might finish a few others then give this one a go :)

Dale Ibitz (goodreadscomdale_ibitz) | 65 comments I liked the opinions, too! Some nice perceptions.

Debbie Davies (debbie16) | 16 comments hi

i read fallen and then read hush hush the next day and i think if i hadn't read them so close together i would have liked fallen more but hush hush was better for me. I have read passion and torment when they came out and I will read the next one when it comes out because they are good they just aren't as good as what else is out there! But it is being made into a film Ive heard and the girl that plays Aria in Pretty little liars is going to be the star

so overall good book but not amazing!

Neila (neilabee) I liked the first book and it all went down hill after that.

Debbie Davies (debbie16) | 16 comments glad to see it wasnt just me that thought so then! ive found most series go downhill after the first one, especially the vampire diaries! im writing my second one now and i hope i make it the same standard as the first one!

Tracey (traceyfarley) | 16 comments I didn't care for the book at all. Left me flat.

Mlpmom (Book Reviewer) (mlpmombookreviewer) | 839 comments I read the first book and have bought the others but still haven't read them.

I don't know why. I guess I just haven't had the desire to yet. Maybe once they are all out I will pick them up again.

I did like Fallen though.

I feel the same way. I really liked the book (I've only read the first one) but I can't really feel the love, especially since he's being a total jerk towards Lucy.

message 16: by Erin (new) - rated it 4 stars

Erin (erinaldacoyahoocom) | 6 comments I've read all 3 books and I'm waiting for the next one. I liked it but there were times in all three books where it kind of dragged and I got bored. I'm hoping the last book doesn't do that. I feel so bad for Daniel after everything he is gone through. I hope it has a really good ending.

IMDB has been saying that there is a movie coming out this year but I don't think it will. But who knows?
