Halfway through the pilot. I was liking it pretty well, but it's managed to tick me off. More political slant. The "villain" in the second half walks into a gun shop and buys a rifle with a prepaid credit card, no name , no ID.

YOU CAN'T DO THAT. ANYWHERE IN THE U.S.

We're getting "guns are bad" message. The employee in the gun shop is known to the cop...and of course has had his license to sell guns revoked. He's working the shop. His wife has a license.

Eileen So far I'm disappointed with the show. Don't think I can watch a show every week that they just shoot people in cold blood.

I know the premise is everyone imprisoned in Alcatraz was bad. I'm going to need more of a story less killing.

So far I'm with you

Well, I'll give it a little more time. I agree they are over playing the closed mouth federal agent. They need to stat tying things together a bit. The first guy (view spoiler).

Okay just went off...with a cliff hanger and a little more "MYSTERY". I've got to say, I hope the writers know where this is going and aren't just winging it saying, "hey what can we do next?"

Eileen The show has the typical format, smart pretty young detective, the funny sidekick and the older leader who supposedly has all the answers. For me, it has a X files feel to it...will see if that's the direction they go in. It did hold my attention the first hour, the second hour I fell asleep during part of the show...not a good sign for me. I will give it a couple more weeks, new shows need time to build. I'm also a fan of Sam Neil ( I think that's his name)

Well watched this last night and I'm afraid it is becoming "maniac of the week". We'll see. Next week a guard comes back instead of a serial killer, sniper, child molester, homicidal robber etc. They need to start concentrating on whatever is supposed to have happened instead of dropping a 2 minute hint at the end of a program about a crazy and the capture.

Luckily it's not on opposite anything I want to watch.

Eileen I missed last night show, finding that I'm not at all disappointed. It will stay on my DVR until I need the room. Watched the week before thinking I'm probably not going to stick with this show unless there's nothing else to watch.

Sam Neil's Character is pissing me off. I like that we get little hints into who the main characters are (what made them who they are) but I'm with you guys.

This just can't keep going on much longer as the "Catch the Creep of the Week Show," without providing some more meat about what happened. I mean, why don't they just shut down Alcatraz, lock the doors and wait for the guys to come back one at a time. Once they get an accurate head count, open it back up.

They haven't even made clear that all the "returners" actually appear at Alcatraz. I mean if this were really happening that's what the feds would do, shut the lock down the island.

I'm a little frustrated to and like I said, I hope the writers actually know where this is going. I mean the doctor is back and working on the return convicts (and he's still smoking like he was in the '50s and '60s) did he know anything?
