I run a YA book blog with a friend called Pages Unbound. We are currently posting three reviews a week and participating in one meme. We occasionally post reviews of classics as well. Thanks for checking us out!

Also, we are thinking of doing a Tolkien Reading Event in March, so if anyone is interested in guest posting a thoughtful review of one of Tolkien's books, email us and let us know!

Briana | 63 comments Review for Heather Dixon's Entwined is now up.

"Heather Dixon places her unique mark on this retelling of “The Twelve Dancing Princesses” in a number of ways. She elaborates on the relationship between the princesses and their father, individualizes each of the princesses and focuses on particular struggles they face, introduces more than one romance, and has the princesses themselves willingly keep the secret of their nightly dances. Each of these creative decisions helps flesh out the story; the princesses become real people with real problems, instead of working as mere number or unit. The result is a tender portrait of what it means to be a family...."
