1. Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac - Gabrielle Zevin
Reading this girl trying to remember her life and her relationships with particular people is interesting and it is a relatively easy read.

2. Life on the Refrigerator Door - Alice Kuipers
A poignant display of a mother and daughter relationship. Read it in public...bad idea, fighting back the tears.

3. Cut - Patricia McCormick
First read this when I was still at school, re-read it earlier this month. A brilliant depiction of mental health.

4. Ashes - Ilsa J. Bick
The end of this left me wanting more, can't wait for the next instalment in the series!

5. The Rum Diary - Hunter S Thompson

Bought and read this purely because I loved Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I loved this almost as much. :)

6. The Kid and the Kid Moves On - Kevin Lewis

Practically finished this already, it's amazing and poignant and a true story. Brutally brilliant.
