message 414: by Thenia (new)

Thenia | 288 comments Macwolf01 [Elise] - I finished If You Give A Girl A Viscount a few days ago, so it doesn't count, but I also started Speak of the Devil and I'm more than halfway through it. Thanks for nudging me into reading it since it's been almost two years since I read the previous one in the series! I'll let you know what I thought of it when I'm done. Thanks again! :)

I finished Wife for Hire by Janet Evanovich and I really enjoyed it. It was a nice break from the Midnight Series that I have been addicted to! It was a quick, quirky, and refreshing romance. Thank you!

I'm still planning on reading Bed of Roses this month.

message 422: by Skandia (new)

Skandia (sfgirl) | 972 comments Finished Rage Of Angels by Sidney Sheldon.
I liked it quite a lot. The ending of the book was a little obscure and the plot was a bit darker than the other Sheldon books I have read. Still, he is one of my favorite authors and thanks to Aleksandra for recommending it.

message 423: by Tuğçe (new)

Tuğçe Gökırmak (tugcenidasevin) Finished a buddy read with Becky, perfect chemmistry, i don't know why i kept waiting to read this for so long, it was very good and another Alex to love ;)

message 424: by Iris (last edited Feb 03, 2012 04:05PM) (new)

Iris (ipro) | 277 comments Finished reading Amulet... It was a sweet, light read if a little predictable... 18 yr old gets the power of invisibility, so what does he do? You guessed it... spies on everyone from the girl next door to his neighbors, the newlyweds. Oh, and let's not forget the prerequisite trip to the girl's locker room. However, predictability aside, it was an uncomplicated read and very enjoyable if you're looking for that kind of thing.
Amulet by S. Wolf

message 426: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new)

~KarenH~ | 11352 comments I finished Darker After Midnight today. It wasn't my favorite of the series, but I did really enjoy it. I listened to the audio version, and when I only had about an hour left to listen to (it's about a 13 hour book) I couldn't figure out how everything was going to get wrapped up in the time left, but it was, complete with a nice epilogue.

Thanks for the recommendation, Dee!

message 427: by Brett (new)

Brett | 478 comments Hey Lady Jaye!
Have you started Extreme Exposure yet? It's a quick read I'm already like half way through and I feel like I just started it.

message 428: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey Flame!

I finished Dream A Little Dream and I loved it! Thanks for the great rec! Rachel totally stole the show! And the plot was really really good. It kept popping up with all these unpredictable moments.

I also read His Mistress For A Million, which I really shouldn't have, because I tend to shy away from either Harlequin or Mills and Boon. I didn't like it, but I thought that Cleo was quite cute and Andreas quite dense.

I also added Bone Cold and Bond of Hatred to my TBR. Thanks Flame!

Penney! I don't know how I missed seeing this message until now! I received Lover Revealed in the mail yesterday! :) I'll be starting it sometime soon, hopefully this week!

I'm really excited to read The Last Werewolf (if I can find it)! I kept seeing it pop up here and there, but I never paid it any attention. I'm so guilty of judging books by their covers, so I always ignored it until now. It sounds really good though!

Sorry i didn't update you. I fell asleep :(. I am almost halfway through Extreme Exposure (I-Team, #1) by Pamela Clare and you're right, it goes by pretty fast. I like the story and the characters. I can't tell you why I thought this, but for some reason, i thought the i-team was referring to some elite fbi/SEAL forces, lol. So i was a bit confused at the beginning, haha!
