The Name of the Star discussion

I recently finished reading this book, and I wondered who else thought it was amazing? :)

I do! of course....
Since we have already read this book, then we should know that it is a cliff-hanger.
I wonder what will happen in the second book?

I didn't think I was going to like it at first, but the more I read it, the harder I found it was to put it down! :)

I loved it. I was a great read

I loved it! Couldn't put it down so I read it in 7 hours. Can't wait for the next one!!

It is one of my favorite books because the author took me along for the ride. I felt like I was there seeing all the sights for myself. Each of my senses were touched by the beautiful details and imagery. Not to mention, the plot was dead on.

I loved this book and can't wait for the rest of the series to come out. I was majorly disappointed to see that we had to wait until next year for the book.

It took me a while to get into it. It's cause I am English so when she was explaining all the English stuff it was quite annoying. Which is a good thing cause it shows she did her research and got things pretty accurate. Apart from describing the Underground as cheerful, I have no idea what Underground she was talking about cause the London Underground is anything but cheerful. But it was an interesting story. Retelling the Jack the Ripper story was quite chilling, I got pretty freaked out when she described the bodies. And whenever Rory commented on the English pronunciation of a word I always wondered if we sounded like that and pronounced it myself to see. The ending was really good, will probably read the next one.

I finished reading this book a few hours ago and I'm completely enchanted by it. I loved everything about it, the plot, the writing, the characters. I can't wait for the next installment in the series... January of 2013, this is a long and difficult path, ugh.

i read this then read 4 more really good ones later that day soooo it paled in comparison...if i had not read all those others my opinion would probably be different.
