Paper Back Swap discussion

I was looking through the list of authors and found two that I enjoy. I was curious if anyone friends authors on here?

I do. I love to talk to the authors when they have time...I mean name a better person to answer a question about their work.

I haven't yet. If I really fell in love with a book, I might.. but my problem with people is... as a person I have paid for some type of entertainment, I do not care what they think about global warming, baby vaccines, antidepressants, Tibet, or whatever the country du jour is n the Celeb list this week because almost without fail, they say something that makes no sense or makes them sound like a box of rocks. Then I can't watch, read or listen to someone's work when I realize they are a jackwipe full of steaming piles of what my dogs leave on the lawn in the morning.

So, I've learned it's best to just let them do their thing and I'll read their book, listen to their music or watch their movie and we can both keep our opinions to ourselves. :)

I've only friended two authors (Neil Gaiman and Michael Laimo). The others have friended me.

Doh. I did not realize Neil Gaiman was here. I might be in trouble.
