Oowee.... Some good ones! I say either the my soul to tIe series or fearless because I just recently bought it and I am dying to hear what others think about so I can know if It's good to read it soon...

But definitely those two are my pick!

Stephen Goldin (stephengoldin) Well, my book Shrine of the Desert Mage (Parsina Saga,#1) by Stephen Goldin (an Arabian Nights fantasy adventure) is coming up for group review next Monday. If you sign up for it, you may even get a free review copy.

Karina Kantas Each to their own, but I would stay away from the House of Night series.

It's a waste of your valuable reading time lol

I'm about to start the Morgan Vamp series. I heard it was good.

I just bought Fearless too and I'm curious what others think about it. I haven't really heard either way.

Roni | 20 comments The way they talked in the Morganville series bugs me. I felt like they were trying to be too cool and sometimes I didn't really understand them, but it does have a nice story line. I liked length of the story too. If they were longer my attention might've started wandering.

Fearless was okay. I read the first five, I think it was. I just couldn't get into it. I thought it had a good premise, but she didn't tell the story well enough.

I'm getting ready to read the Morgan vamp series also. It has been suggested to me several times.

I would say read Fearless. I read the first book when it was first published in 1999 but in my small town it was hard to find all of the books in the series. I actually saw the book at Walmart the other day. I is weird that it has the new cover art and is being reintroduced now into society after 13 years later. I hope it does better now after its rebirth. It is quite a remarkable and original tale. Let me know what you think if you do read it!

I saw it in Walmart also, but did not pick it up. You say this is first in a series?

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Laura, there are literally 36 books in the series. When I first started reading them, I couldn't find past book #3 so I have not read past that but the first three were pretty good. There is also a sister series with 4 in the series called Fearless FBI.

message 13: by Laura (new)

Laura Thomas (laurathomas) | 562 comments I don't know if I want to start a book with that many in the series. I want an ending at sometime.

Ailyn Shi | 4 comments Before Ever After by Samantha Sotto. Am actually planning to read this sometime soon. Anyone heard of it?

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

-lol- maybe I still think it was a great series because I couldn't find any after book 3. When I did see them years later I just was not that interested. Yeah, 36 is more than a pocket full of books. I wonder if anyone has actually read all of them.

They are short books though. Maybe only 200 to 250 pages each at the max.

Alexandria (alexandriatheo) | 51 comments 36 books!! I didn't even know that many books could be in a series lol I'm really curious now to get far into the series just to see if it stays interesting the whole time!

message 17: by Laura (new)

Laura Thomas (laurathomas) | 562 comments Maybe I should just read one and see if I like it enough to consider reading 35 more. That is a lot of books!
