Lay your soul bare,
We won't laugh,
We'll probably share!

I love downloading free books.

message 3: by Wanda (new)

Wanda (joeysnana) | 169 comments I used to dislike my boyfriend going out of town for work. Now, I look forward to the rarity of the occasion when he does go. When he's not home, I don't have to feel guilty for reading instead of socializing with him.

Don't get me wrong, I miss him eventually, but I like my time alone with my books:)

Yes, I read to much. Yes, I'm on goodreads way to much. But I love them both. I've totally got to find a balance though. The fam is none to happy.

I feel that way too.

Bridget Bowers (bridgetbowers) | 9 comments I had said that I'd never use Twitter and that Facebook was stupid. Now I spend way to much time on both and have to limit myself to the time I spent there.

Never say never, right?

I love reading as well. I always have to read something even if only for a short time right before bed.

I agree with you Wanda. I used to hate it when my husband travels, now I can read when he's gone and not feel guilty about not giving him any face time.

Are you going to join the buddy read for Discovery of Witches?

For The Love of Books (clsipes) | 55 comments There is a buddy read for Discovery of Witches? Where? I just bought the book and I was struggling with what to read next.

I guess that is bound to happen when I have about 200 books to read and I still keep buying them.

Also, someone said earlier that they like it when their boyfriend heads out of town because it gives her more free time with her books. My friend, I have the same guilty pleasure! I had yesterday and today off and I keep thinking, "I REALLY want to read," but my partner has been home also. Sadly, I can't wait for her to go back to work tomorrow as I took personal time off for the next two days as well. I don't know if I should feel terrible about that or what. :-)

In any case, I'm excited that I will get alone time with my books and hopefully I will also get a more than decent head start on the book I've just finished outlining. Ah the life of a book-a-holic!

It is such a great book, I guess you just can't own it enough!

My to-be-read pile is getting out of control...especially on my kindle where they aren't toppling over to draw my attention all the time.

Probably not. :/ I have like a half-dozen review copies of books I need to catch up on over the next month or so.
