The Sword and Laser discussion

The new Lightspeed Magazine seems like it would be a great read for members of Sword and Laser since it combined with Fantasy Magazine last month. It has sword and laser now!

It seems pretty good. Its fast loading.
No automatic theme music or small characters
dancing cross the screen.
Good content.
If your fishing for complements,
consider yourself complemented.

I read Fantasy Magazine on and off when it has something that interests me, and there's nothing about the change over that will stop me doing so.
I like that there are readings of a lot of the stories too.

It looks good! I like both Fantasy & Sci Fi so it's good for me!

I mostly read science fiction. I like some fantasy but am less enthused. I was a little disappointed that my kindle app said I was about 2/3 into the latest issue before I got to something science fiction.

I'm not yet entirely sure I like the mash up but I'm willing to see how it goes. I just renewed for a year so I'm in for awhile.

They offer samples of their ebooks.
The mobi version (kindle) comes out garbled.
Download the epub version and convert it
with Stanza and it comes out fine.
