Hi Karen - would you believe that sweet doggie is celebrating her 7th Birthday today...we are having cupcakes later - have to celebrate her birthday...cant believe we have had her 7 years we picked her up from the breader when she was 8 weeks old.
Im looking forward to getting the game on

I've played a few times and haven't had the Captaining responsibility yet so I don't mind doing it. I also don't mind not doing it if someone else really wants to.
As far as names go...I'm an awful namer. I'll try to think of something but I usually just defer to someone with better naming skills.

The only thing I have in my head right now is "the power of 3" from Charmed...

I am fine with Karen as Captain and The Power of 3 sounds good to me. I loved Charmed!!!.
Popping over to check out first shelf!

Jennifer I hope this helps - if not let us know & will try to make things easier for you -
To get free space credit, each team member must pick a book from one of these three options:
** Please keep in mind that all books chosen during the game must be a minimum of 200 pages and graphic novels are not allowed.
(1) An SOS Book of the Month: Any month while the game is in play
OR
(2) A book off of any of the group's new release threads: Any book listed on one of the new release threads; no matter the date of release
OR
(3) A book off of the group's bookshelf: Any shelf or tag; No date restriction - books added at anytime may be chosen
Be sure to post on your team's thread: which book you chose for FREE SPACE credit, which of the three options above you used to pick your book, your rating and your review once you've read it.
Once all members of each team have posted the above information, your team will get "a stamp" in the FREE SPACE. :D
Members don't have to pick and read a book right away, they can, but it's not required. This is not a team read, each member chooses their own book TBR for their team's free space credit. You can choose which book to read and when to read it, but no team will get free space credit until all members have read, rated & reviewed a book chosen from one those options.

Hi Jennifer - the link to the free read post is here: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/5... All of the explanations and links are posted in that thread but basically it's any book that's a group read during the bingo round, anything on the group's bookshelves or anything from the new release thread in the group.

no problem - glad I could help out....

Thanks for helping me ladies! So happy to have found this group and reading game!

Its on the shelf for Group so you are good to read
Glad you joined us -

We are loving it over there - I played in round 1 and am on both a regular and a super-speedy team right now. We all appreciate you letting us jump on your idea :)

Yay for getting a physical book off my shelf that has been sitting there for 2+ years!

Glad you liked it Mandy - that's my next book in that series and I've been looking forward to Jaime and Jeremy's story. I was tempted but I stayed away from the spoiler.

That's why I love using the spoiler tag - I hate to mess up someone else's enjoyment of a story.

Now Im off to read my shelf book for a stamp

We are loving it over there - I..."
Hooray! It's exciting to see BSB be successful where ever it goes!

Love the review...really gotta get more of that series read!

We are loving it ..."
We are very close to ending Round 2, and I am going to play again over there, too - so much fun!

I got more wordy in my review so I didn't paste is fully here but if you're interested: Karen's Discovery of Witches Review

This installment of the Talions' series does not disappoint - you have the broody, old, alpha male hero and the strong modern female he falls for, wrapped in more political drama when the current Grand Dame of the Kyth becomes the target of terror. (view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>

I wish there were more - I want Sean to have a book :)

The more i read books from this series, the more i like it :) its just amazing. I mean there just happens so much fairies in war, wizards in war with vampires. Im really looking forward to the next book :) Lets see what happens with wizard vampire war.

I am a huge fan of Cate Tiernan's books so it was of no surprise that I had a hard time putting this one down. The action begins in the first few pages and I don't think I ever found a dull or boring spot in the entire story. Still I was a little dismayed at first because I think I went into reading Immortal Beloved with the thoughts that it would have some resemblance to her awesome Sweep Series and it so totally doesn't but it takes on a life of it's own and I want more!
