I think I already know the answer, but it never hurts to ask, right? I mean y'all don't have any REAL work to do... except help to recover from Amazon.

ANYway, am I right that these books cannot be made a series because there's no way we can guarantee that the desired editions will come up in the series list? They're listed as a series on the back of at least one of the books.

I'm pretty sure that the same answer would apply to the heads from this shelf here, even though it looks obvious.

Those are not series. If it does not apply to EVERY edition of a work, it's not a series.

and discovered that it's listed as part of the MagicQuest series, which are reprints of YA fantasy books not related to each other. I know it fits the description of what isn't a series, but the person who created it is a very active librarian and I want to be sure I'm okay to delete the series.

You might try messaging them first and discussing it. I thought it was a shared-world series, but I'm not especially familiar with it.

I'm familiar with that series -- you're right, the books are not related & it's just a collection of YA fantasy.

Fury by Rushdie appears on a giveaway week series or something like that. I think it needs to be deleted.
