Karol | 221 comments Ellen, Wow! Some very interesting titles . . . What did you think of Last Light, by Terri Blackstock? I just started the second book in the series (Night Light) this morning.

message 3: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (grammyellen) i thought it was very interesting. really made you think about how your family would handle something like that. i have all the other books, but haven't gotten around to reading them yet. maybe after the holidays.

Penny I read Last Light for my church book club. It generated a lot of discussion. We may flaunt independence in our society, but we certainly are dependent on technology! It made me reflect on all the things I take for granted and what is really important. And I look at grocery shopping in a whole new way! :)

message 5: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (grammyellen) i can understand that totally. it really makes you think about what could potentially happen. whose to say there will not be something like that happening to us.
