The Sword and Laser discussion

So I know there are at least a few Scott Lynch fans here, and a couple more people interested in reading The Lies of Locke Lamora, and while I don't think we should give up in getting it as an official Sword and Laser pick (*puppy dog eyes*), here's something to tide us over while we wait.
