Prose by Design (prosebydesign) | 10 comments Prose by Design is a company designed to help new and aspiring authors realize their dream of becoming published. We offer full services for self-publishing your book, or you can let us do all the work for you. Our goal is for you to accomplish becoming published without any out-of-pocket expense to you by signing a two-year exclusive contract with us, or you can choose to avail yourself of any of our services in areas you might struggle with including: formatting, marketing, book blog tours, book covers, etc.
We are currently accepting admissions at www.prosebydesign.com for all genres (no erotica please).

Are you a book blogger willing to read books for
reviews? Send us an email at [email protected] and we will get back to you.

Freelance editors, cover designers, blog tour hosting sites, or others are also welcome to email us to see whether we might use you for resources for our authors.

Stephen Pearl (stephenp11) | 272 comments Given the polite nature of my post I fail to see why you are shouting at me.

Prose by Design (prosebydesign) | 10 comments Not shouting! Sorry. I meant that as an emphasis. I tired italicizing, but it wouldn't work properly;} We promote your novel through different market strategies. We format both the ebook and the paperback book for uploading to Amazon, Create Space, Barnes and Noble, Smashwords, etc. We offer free basic covers to our authors, bookmarks and business cards at a discount, things of this nature. Our company assists the author. There are no fees to the author, we get a percentage of the sales. It is in both of our interests to help promote and sell your book. You/we don't sell your books, we both lose.
We also offer these services meantioned above Ala Carte if you don't want to sign on with Prose By Design.
Prose By Design is not for everyone. Some authors enjoy the marketing, formatting, etc… end of the business. Our company is for those who don't. That's it in a nutshell. Check out the website which will be fully operational March 1st, although you can email us with questions also.

Prose by Design (prosebydesign) | 10 comments Thanks. We're self-published authors ourselves and after having close to a hundred people approach us with questions on self-publishing, we decided to open Prose By Design. Our company is for those who need/want help.
We've currently signed on one author who has written four books, but because he hates marketing, he has had hardly any sales, despite the fact that his books are amazing! His writing is strong and witty, and he has the ability to create a story that sucks you in from page one.
Those are the people we hope to help.

Karina Kantas I wish you all the best with your business. It's not for me, but I'm sure you'll soon have many authors signed up.

Prose by Design (prosebydesign) | 10 comments Pretty good, actually. After the summer months ended, and since it was a Summer Love anthology, we decided to break up the stories and sell them individually. They have done even better. It is great because the authors who've gotten out and really marketed themselves along with us are doing great, but the ones who are doing nothing, their sales a low.
Our next Anthology Screams in the Night is now out and doing pretty good too. Not sure if we will break it up yet. We haven't decided. We will have to see how well it continues to sell. It's a Halloween/scary anthology. Man, did we get some creepy submissions! LOL. Thanks for asking.
