Liis (cvr_2_cvr) Hiya,

I would like to share my love for a recently found trilogy... It's shocking, yet fun and innocent at the same time... maybe.. maybe not! There's crime and mystery and romantic relationships... Best of all- it will have you laughing out loud or gasping from "Oh, no, he wouldn't!!!" :)
Check out the guest post by author RG Manse HERE where he reveals the origins of the main character and utterly lovable Frank and HERE you can find my review of Books 1-3, Frank Friendship series.
Thanks! :)

Ross Ponderson | 11 comments I just did the 20Q interview with Douglas Schwartz from CheckeredScissors.com.

He posed some interesting questions and (hopefully) I provided some interesting answers as well. I also offered some behind the scenes insights into my literary pursuits and into the writing of Child of Privilege, my debut novel.

Stop over and check it out!

I asked for some free ebooks here posted by their authors. I was lucky enough to get almost all the ones I requested, and I am amazed by the quality of their content, as well technically, as story-related.
So far, I've read The Other Wife by Ms. Paterka, Pretty Maidens all in a Row by J.M. Brown, Back Again by Susan May, The Perfect View by Carolyn Young, and the Letters Review by Ella Drayton. I still have more to read, but still, I wanted to thank the authors and tell them the quality of their writings is fantastic.

Tevis Shkodra (tevisshkodra) Hey everyone,

This is my first post on Goodreads, and i am only slightly nervous. I am a new author who has just published a fiction political dystopian novella, that discusses the inequality gap and the sway that corporations have over the people (obviously it is set in the future and emphasized a bit)...

I would seriously appreciate it if you check it out, its titled "symbiosis" and i have included the goodreads book link below. I have also included my twitter and the amazon page link. I really hope you enjoy it, and if you have a chance, i urge you to drop by my author page, and leave a like (i dont know how goodreads works), or comment, or add my as a friend or whatever. And i honestly think ill faint if i ever saw my book on someones "currently reading" list, and i'm a guy.

I would love to interact with everyone here.

Thank you for your time.

My debut novel, War in October, is available on Amazon! It follows a crazy old beer-drinkin' vet on his delusional search for freedom within the confines of small town Indiana. Dark humor, social commentary, and nostalgic American imagery compliment a strong and suspenseful plot. Psychological twists abound. I'd be grateful if you'd check it out!

E.S. Nielsen | 5 comments I put one of my stories on amazon the beginning of March. I have gotten rates on goodreads but nothing on amazon. Is this normal? People have bought the book, read it with the KU thing and scooped it up on that free promotion thing but nothing as far as a rating or review. I honestly expected some negative reviews but I did not expect silence. The silence feels a lot like disappointing someone so they don't yell at you or throw a spoon at your head they're just quiet. I haven't gotten any returns, nothing... what have some of you others experienced as far as getting feedback on amazon?

Kimberly Smith | 7 comments Thank you! My new book American Dream: Shadows of the Ancient Wood is now on Kindle! I have been so excited about this! My first book was a non-fiction...not my favorite area to write in but it was an assignment of sorts. I would rather write fiction, that has always come naturally to me, besides if you like a character you can just kill them...you can't do that in non-fiction! LOL
I love that there are groups like this where fellow writers can talk and support one another!

E.S. I know it's probably a little late to reply, but my advice is, get used to it. Reviews and ratings are hard to come by in my experience. I've hosted giveaways, have given away thousands of my books. But very few reviews. Even from those that promised to review for a copy.

Out of 20 books you may give out or sell, you'll probably get 1 review, and that's on a good day. You just have to keep trying. I add a small message on the last page of my books asking for a review, but in the end, it's up to the reader. That's all you can do.

Contact bloggers who will agree to review your book. Most readers just don't bother:)
