Ian Kane | 14 comments In the near future, what would you think would more likely be the cause of an apocalyptic event and why?

1. A nuclear war breaking out and destroying modern civilization.

2. A sudden catastrophic climactic shift.

3. A viral outbreak which infects billions of people globally.

Find out.

Tariq Saleim (tariqsaleim) | 7 comments I would like to share my poem. I look forward to your comments.

He created the guided
And the misguided
Good and evil
Dark and bright
So the guided can show
Which way to go
Misguided can stagger
Away from vices
On a trail that is pure
Both are victorious
One by leading
The other being led

To lead with fairness
Selfless, no payback
For God’s will only
Is taxing and tiring
Often alone
Beaten and bruised
Cursed and shunned
So many set off
With intentions so pure
Yet few ever finish
With results that are real
Most give up
Because leading is tough
If done for no profits
Yet therein lies the test
Of those who were guided
By knowledge and wisdom
From God’s bounty
Guidance begets duty
To lead and lead well

Difficult it is
For the misguided to change
Their first gut feeling
Is always to resist
So they challenge and tussle
With utmost passion
They believe obliged
To customs and rites
Status quo is good
Why change for a man
Telling different accounts
Challenging all they know
Why cannot the guided
Mind their business
Take their stories
Somewhere else to tell
Little do they know
Their trial it is too
To see the light
Be guided to right
To fight with self
And follow the guided
Yet they fight

The guided is burdened
With the weight of wisdom
Duty bound to lead
Or else he would fail
The task he was given

The misguided is lamenting
Change is damning
Right is burdening
Just let me be
I am happy, he says
But he needs to change
Or he too shall fail

Life is a test
For all drawn in
Black against white
Good against evil
Some have to make changes
Some need to change
This is our legacy
From the first to the last
Inevitable and certain

And even though I'm the token male here, I'm working hard at some affirmative action, which basically entails getting lots of women to buy my book. And girls, let me tell you: there is no greater pleasure than getting clicks from chicks. And to that end, I'd like to direct you to the only review I have ever posted on Goodreads. It is a raving, five-star review. Of my own book. But it's extremely objective. I actually had to restrain myself when writing it. Check it out: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

The Boyfriend List
The Boyfriend List by R.S. Novelle

The Boyfriend List follows twenty-year-old Reagan in her quest for the perfect relationship after a somewhat tragic spring break breakup leaves her disillusioned about love... again.

Reagan had always prided herself on making levelheaded, practical, analytical decisions about everything. Everything, that is, except where guys are concerned. Which was proven to her, once again, when her “boyfriend” opts to take another girl on their oh-so-romantic trip to his lake house. In order to prevent future heartbreak, she creates a checklist of all the qualities she wants in a man, and vows not to give her heart away again until she can determine if they fit every last criteria.

After scouring campus with her two best friends in her tricky journey, her detective work returns a pile of unworthy rejects, and it seems as though her choices are narrowed down to only two options: the hot stranger who’s inspired her new project, and her best guy friend Ian, who she’s always kept at bay due to his perceived playboy reputation.

Reagan gets more than she bargained for with her new set of rules, however, and is surprised to find that love, and the perfect boyfriend, may have been within reach the entire time. But will Ian’s reputation ruin his chances to prove his worth? And can Reagan let go of her insecurities long enough to even give him a chance?

The Boyfriend List is a light, New Adult romance about friendship, trust, and learning to let go in order to embrace what real love can offer.

Some readers have described it as a utopia - the kind of world they would love to be a part of someday.
Others have considered it a terrible, ungodly place; the likes of which must never be permitted to exist.

If you choose to visit, I hope that you enjoy reading about the world of Levels as much as I enjoyed creating it.
