Intensity
question
What should I read?

I read Intensity several years and loved it. I need help finding a book that can compare, at lease somewhat, in suspense and reading enjoyment. I've read a lot of good classics lately, but I want something modern and, ya know, intense. What should I read?

yeah, I agree that there's a lot of good koontz books. my favorites were dragon tears, shadowfires, sole survivor, strangers...*oh, I forgot phantoms and midnight!*
also, I've got a lot of other favorite serial killer books, but they're a lot darker than anything by koontz. I love karin slaughter's grant county series (1st one is blindsighted) and alex kava's maggie o'dell series (1st one is a perfect evil). also greg iles' blood memory is kinda similar...

Have you read Dean Koontz- Watchers? It's a great one-my favorite by him.
My all time favorite Koontz book is THE FACE. It's soooo good.

I haven't heard of this one! Can you give a little info on what it's about?

Intensity was one of the scariest books I have ever read. The Shininng is an older book, but it is one you won't want to read at night alone. Redrum
Intensity was my first novel to read by Dean Koontz. The book is intense....I don't like scarey movies, but I was hooked on this book and could not put the book down.I will read more of his books when
I am in the right mood.
I am in the right mood.
When I read Intensity I was probably late teens or early Twenties. I remember very cleary reading at 1:00 in the morning and going around the house checking all the doors and windows and then resisting the temptation to check them again. If you are looking for a Dean Koontz book I reccomend From the Corner of His Eye or the Frankenstien Series. Another book that left me with that uneasy feeling after I read it was Primeal Fear I forget the author but it was made into a movie.
I know of a pretty good realistic post-apocalyptic you might like...moves pretty fast...:)
