I'm not too far into it yet, but I totally agree with you. He seems English with his writing in this book. I've not read any of his others so can't compare.

I'm enjoying it so far though may have to go to bed early to read some more!

One thing has struck me though. They switched clothes but Tom didn't bath. Surely he would smell a bit. I know it says he used to 'wash' in the river but still surely someone must have smelt a change in the prince!

I am really liking the start of Chapter XIX. A very true but ironic word spoken by the real king.

How are you getting on Judy? I have finished it and rather enjoyed it. Although I don't really know what to say about it apart from that I'm glad it all returned to normal and that both had the chance to experience the world from the others' viewpoint and take valuable lessons from them and carry them on and use them in their journeys through life.

I wouldn't have read this if you hadn't asked for a Buddy, so thank you. I enjoyed it. Yes a cute little story.
