Addicted to YA discussion

I'm Brenna and mainly what I read is YA novels. I discovered Goodreads yesterday and so far, I love it. My favourite book is The Host by Stephenie Meyer. Other books I absolutely adore include the Vampire Academy series, Sarah Dessen novels, The Summer I Turned Pretty Trilogy by Jenny Han, The Hunger Games, Twilight, The Mortal Instruments, Emily Giffin novels.. and the list goes on. I just finished reading YA novel Hush, Hush and liked it alright. I'm an aspiring author. Looking forward to being a part of this group :)

I love the Mortal Instruments, Holly Black's White Cat series, Kristin Cashore's books, and a ton more. James Dashner, Gordon Korman, and definitely Neal Schusterman (especially Unwind- psyched to hear rumors of a sequel).
Like many of you (I'm sure), I have my Hunger Games midnight showing tickets reserved and ready. So stoked.

Hi I'm Tasheana, new to the group. I love to read everything but I seem to always like the YA novels best, especially paranormal. Brenna I LOVED The Host! I saw mixed reviews on it but personally it's also one of my favorites. Twilight also, and the Mortal Instruments. I usually tend to read what's popular or what my friends recommend, but I'm trying to keep more of an open mind. I ALWAYS love a good love story involved and some kind of action is a plus. Any recommendations from the group would be appreciated! :) Thanks. And I also look forward to being an active part of this group!

Hi there! My name is Erin and I've been a fan of YA books since I can remember. My favorite books is the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman. There's just something about those books that keeps me coming back for more again and again. My favorite author, however, would have to be Tamora Pierce. I am in LOVE with her Tortall books, as well as the Circle. I can never get enough of either.

I loved The Hot as well! Probably better than I did the Twilight Saga. Plus it was one of the first ever ebooks I bought for my very first Kindle so that book holds a special place in my heart lol

the Mortal Instruments are amazing:) I love that series! Harry Potter is also one of my all time favorites! The Hunger Games are amazing but I don't really like Twilight. Paranormal romance is great:)
