I'm an energetic and avid reader. Right now I'm on a challenge to read 100 books this year. So I'm constantly looking for new titles to pick up. I love going through reviews and getting a hold of books that have been highly recommended to me. I love YA books.
My favorite author is Diana Wynne Jones (Rest her soul). She's my literary hero.
I don't believe I have a favorite book. There are books that have influenced my writing, books that have changed my life, books that have just been exceptionally fun to read... but I don't think I could name an absolute favorite for sure.

My favorite author is Sarah Dessen. Funny cause I didn't realize that until I was almost reading all her books. I still got Keeping the Moon! (psst, my favs are Just Listen and This Lullaby)
usually a fav books jumps around from one to the other but I especially like Dash and Lily book of Dares(HILARIOUS!!!), Just Listen, Notes from and Accidental Band Geek (so much fun reading), and maybe some more.
Don't have a fav genre, usually jumps around. So that's me and I hope I have a good time in this group!

Hi Erika! Thank you for the warm welcome. :-)

Thanks so much! Very excited to be a part of it!

And Oh! I ♥ Harry Potter & Maximun Ride & The Chemical Garden Series!
Hello, members! All of you are lucky, for a great spirit is now talking to you at the moment..*clears throat*..
This spirit (me) goes by Ven, Venni, Haku, Hakuna Matata, Vennela, etc...
I enjoy many books.. too many to list, but I like Cassandra Clare's books, Harry Potter series, the Hunger Games, etc.
And a recent book that I have read, Home Front, has become one of my favorite books. You should definitely check it out, if looking for something to read. :)
And keep in mind that I don't exist...

My name's Kati and I'm from Germany. I'm studying translation english - german (and vice versa) and I'm about to graduate from university in summer.
Some of my favorite books:
- Harry Potter (especially 1-4)
- The Hunger Games
- House of Night
- Slam
- and a bunch of mangas ^^
I started reading "The Infernal Devices - Clockwork Angel" the other day. I like it so far =)

I, for one, loved your blathering and wanted to read more. You should read my post--it's probably twice as long as it should be.

Hi, I'm Rhea and after reading this post from Amanda I am so happy that I joined this group! Ender's game is definitely one of my favorite novels and so few people have read it. Furthermore, Robin Mckinley is amazing! I'd probably run out of characters if I list all my favorite YA authors and novels so I'll just stick with genres. The YA genres I've probably read the most often are fantasy, supernatural, historical fiction and chick-lit like Sarah Dessen books but I'll read pretty much any genre.
