Hi, I'm Cat. I'm the author of Through Time Indefinite (time travel romance for 18+) and the two Equilibrium books, Slayer's Heart and Rebirth (urban fantasy 18+). I've just started on my very first vampire/shapeshifter YA urban fantasy book series (14+), The Girl in the Leather Jacket. This is the first time I've written a YA and after finishing the first book, I have to say, it was incredibly fun!

I'm an energetic and avid reader. Right now I'm on a challenge to read 100 books this year. So I'm constantly looking for new titles to pick up. I love going through reviews and getting a hold of books that have been highly recommended to me. I love YA books.

My favorite author is Diana Wynne Jones (Rest her soul). She's my literary hero.

I don't believe I have a favorite book. There are books that have influenced my writing, books that have changed my life, books that have just been exceptionally fun to read... but I don't think I could name an absolute favorite for sure.

usually a fav books jumps around from one to the other but I especially like Dash and Lily book of Dares(HILARIOUS!!!), Just Listen, Notes from and Accidental Band Geek (so much fun reading), and maybe some more.

Don't have a fav genre, usually jumps around. So that's me and I hope I have a good time in this group!

Currently I've been picking off titles from the recommended for you section on amazon and it's led me to discover some of my favorite books and some new others that aren't as well know as some like J.K. Rowling and Suzanne Collins. My favorite of the books I've read this year are: Zero Sight series by Justin Shier and The Hungering Saga by Heath Pfaff. I'd love to hear any suggestions!!

My name is Amanda and I have been addicted to young adult books since I was about ten. I'm also addicted to movies (anything from 1920 to the present) and classic Regency Romance. As for young adult books, I love the classics such as The Dark Is Rising Sequence, A Wrinkle in Time, even A Girl of the Limberlost, but my true love is dystopian literature: The Giver, Ender's Game, Uglies, The Hunger Games, Matched, Among the Hidden, Fahrenheit 451, etc. My favorite young adult authors include: Robin McKinley, Joan Bauer, Tamora Pierce, Ally Carter, Lois Duncan, Joan Lowery Nixon, Willo Davis Roberts, Margaret Peterson Haddix, J.K. Rowling, Gail Carson Levine, Jessica Day George, Lois Lowry, Kay Lynn Mangum, Shannon Hale, John Flanagan, Gladys Malvern, and Amelia Elizabeth Walden. Just to get it off my chest, I loved reading Twilight once through, but only read the first one multiple times because I really couldn't stand the writing, but loved Edward's dry humor. Other than Twilight, I try to stay away from paranormal literature unless it's just a good old-fashioned ghost story.

Hi, I'm Rhea and after reading this post from Amanda I am so happy that I joined this group! Ender's game is definitely one of my favorite novels and so few people have read it. Furthermore, Robin Mckinley is amazing! I'd probably run out of characters if I list all my favorite YA authors and novels so I'll just stick with genres. The YA genres I've probably read the most often are fantasy, supernatural, historical fiction and chick-lit like Sarah Dessen books but I'll read pretty much any genre.
