Yeah the LoR books aren't fast reads, but I read them after I'd read the Hobbit, which is so slow it is ridiculous, so they didn't feel too bad to me.

Ela Erika wrote: "Finally getting around to reading The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and so far it's amazing but it's keeping me from studying for exams."

I know the feeling, haven't read this book but I'm having to reduce the amount of time I'm reading otherwise I just won't do any work!

Yeah I read the hobbit last year so I bought the box set LoR a couple weeks ago cause I never read them, but I think Fellowship is much slower than the hobbit was

It might be another Sherlock Holmes or it might Divergent by Veronica Roth. Or maybe book 5 of Stephen King's Dark Tower series, The Wolves of Calla. Decisions, decisions.

Denise Vega (denisevega) I just finished DASH & LILY'S BOOK OF DARES - much more lighthearted than some of the books you all are reading! I loved it - I'm a sucker for clever romance stories. Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn

Chloe - How are you liking The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness THE KNIFE OF NEVER LETTING GO? I LOVED that trilogy - the writing is so fabulous, the premise so unique. Each book was equally strong, I thought, which isn't always the case with trilogies.

I'm reading Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer and at first I was desperately confused (I mean I was seriously thinking about putting it down) but I stuck with it and kept reading, and to my surprise it got MUCH better and now I can hardly put it down (I'm still not even 50 pages into it yet.) SO good.

I read the first couple of chapters of and I was shocked at the author's choice to start the book with such a terrifying scene. I'm not the kind of person who is like "Oh my god, scary book!" But for some reason this one really bothered me. I have no Idea why, I guess I'm just weird like that...[bookcover:If I Stay|6990472] If I Stay by Gayle Forman
