Addicted to YA discussion

I hate that they make us read a book over the summer from their list. I've read probably 20 books this summer, but they don't count. I have to read
by the end of August and I haven't even started yet. I heard some people get to read for their required reading.

Oh we don't get a list :/ on the last day of English they were like here those of you continuing honors english have to read Ethan Frome over the summer to write an essay on it the first week of school...

I've never actually read The Fault in Our Stars though I've heard people like it a lot... Idl it just seems too boo-hoo 'sucks to be me' kind of book with a love story mixed in. Not really my thing lol

I am currently reading clockwork prince by cassandra clare, fade by lisa mcmann, the enclave by karen hancock, and the awakened by jason tesar.

I'm glad to see that so many people are enjoying -- I have that on its way to me now, along with and . They're all next on my to-read list.

Right now I'm about 1/3 of the way through . It's good, and imaginative just like the rest, and it's interesting that it's from the guy's point of view, but I feel like I'll need a nice long break from the world of the Iron Fey for a while soon. I'm also not really sure if Ash is the kind of character whose head the reader is meant to get inside, but I suppose that gives the book an interesting point of view.

I have just started reading Crossed by Ally Condie. Liking it so far too. It's nice hearing from two POV's.

I just finished Matched by Ally Condie. I enjoyed that book a lot. I had my downs with it though but it kept me enough invested to continue on in the series.

Next after this series I plan on checking out the Immortal Instruments series. Recommended by a friend.

I finished The Girl With Glass Feet. Really liked the characters and the romance was sweet and sad. No sequel in sight! I have Sweetlyon my "to read" list.

I'm reading Graceling and I just finished It's Kind of a Funny Story and The Perks of Being a Wallflower (Which I both LOVED!)
And I might read The Fault in Our Stars when i'm done with Graceling! :D
