I'm a fan of Susan Wittig Albert's China Bayles series, the first is Thyme of Death. A more recent cozy is Dire Threads by Janet Bolin.

Senior sleuth- As The Pig Turns 3 stars, not as good as the rest of the series, I've read the next one since and it was better... Read in April.

The website graciously lists a variety of cozy themes, and has broken down each theme into lists of books by either authors (alphabetically) or by category.
