Percy Jackson will always have a soft spot in my heart. In middle school I had two english teachers in two different years read The Lightning Thief to us, plus the countless times I had reread it on my own. It's a comfort book, and I can relate to the sarcasm and a little bit angsty attitude of Percy. He's a comfort character for me!

Just finished rereading the Lightning Thief and Percy Jackson is still my favorite. Only Percy yells "Ground Beef!" in the middle of battling the Minotaur. May his sassiness live on forever more.

I love Percy, I love how determined he is to succeed and his friendship with Annabeth and Groover. I also like his sword and how he always get's out of trouble when he lands in trouble. I love the Greek mythology and gods, the books are well written and I'd read those books again any day of the week. I'm so excited for the Disney+ adaptation!
