I thought this would be a good place for reviewers to post their book/genre likes. Also, please note if you'd like authors to contact you or not based on your likes.

I'll read almost anything but I'm not that thrilled with romance or erotica, they're too 'fantasy' for me. Otherwise I'm pretty flexible, if the synopsis sounds good then I'm game.

I run two sites. They review erotic romance and erotica. I specialize in BDSM and menage erotic romance and erotica, but will review most any that fall under those genres.

Please don't send me YA. :) (Yes, I've had it happen.)

YA, fantasy, history and thrillers :) But I prefer YA and fantasy.

I have two sites, but one is for older books - so would be good for re-releases, anniversary releases or someone who wants to remind readers about a particular series and wishes to have an earlier book reviewed as an introduction to a new book in said series.

The other I review non-fiction (esp. history, military/naval, culture/social sciences), historical & contemporary fictions, detective & mystery, and thrillers. I also enjoy books with quirky or interesting uses of English language. I will review novellas and short stories, but not poetry - I wouldn't know where to begin.

I will consider other genres, if they kind of fit the above. (i.e. historical fiction romance, YA history/mythology)

I like Bizarro and good horror, and zombies and vampires of course! But hopefully GOOD ones. And anything unusual that makes sense like the Alienist.

Hey Guys! I review a little bit of everything my tastes have always been eclectic. I am not a huge fan of Erotica I can do some of the less *overly abundant* I guess I could say. lol mm.. I am picky on biographies and I stay out of politics.

My main genre preference is sci-fi/fantasy/spec-fic, though I read almost everything but romance, including graphic art and children's books. I published my first murder mystery "Claddagh Pool" two years ago and am completing the second in a series with my two main characters. Conor, a detective and Anne, a newspaper reporter. Do you as a reader, like leading characters who are emotionally involved with each other, or not? Does this relationship make for more conflict or not?

I am not a fan of emotionally involved leading characters in mysteries. It just seems too cliche. I imagine it's harder to write more independent, equal characters who work together with respect and intelligence, but it's much more rewarding and inspiring for me, as a woman reader, to see men working alongside women as colleagues without love or lust becoming an issue.

For me its a range of topics of teen, YA, or whatever you call people that arent middle age yet.

I love Historical, and Amish, and sometimes Dystopian and Fantasy. (Skip the horror/ paramormal, gay and that like, nonfiction in general,etc.)
