Gunjari (irajnug) | 732 comments i just finished it - absolutely loved it! i, to, enjoyed dumbledores humerous comments (especially after 'the fountain of fair fortune', which was my favorite story). it's so great that the money is going to charity!

i also liked that jkr did the illustrations. it added a personal touch - plus her drawings are nothing to be sneezed at!

Sydney | 2 comments I read it a few days ago and found it, although short, a very good read. I love that all of the money is going to a charity. That is probably my favorite part

Gunjari (irajnug) | 732 comments and dumbledores' commentary - almost seemed like he was alive again! (insert little nostalgic sniffle here)

Why did you think it was horrible? You did know it would be a collection of stories to meant to instruct children in the wizarding world, right (meaning you weren't expecting another Harry Potter novel)?

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

I thought that it was just badly written. IT WAS BORING most of all.

message 11: by Asne (new)

Asne i thought it was absolutely amazing!! most of all i loved The Fountain of Fair Fortune and Warlocks Hairy Heart. JKR is brilliant.

Does ANYONE agree with me?

message 15: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (beatrixkiddo) | 63 comments No offense, but I have serious doubts you find someone here who agrees with you. And it's ok, everybody has the right to have his/her own opinion about this book. But please tell me: why on earth you think it's "badly written"?? One of the things I admire of JKR is, precisely, her writting; maybe it's not perfect, but it's certainly dinamic, so I can't consider Beedle boring at all. And her imagination exceeded all my expectations! I couldn't have thought of a story called Babbity RAbbity and her cackling stump as something serious,;however that was one of my favorites stories in the book.

Anyway, if somebody agrees with Ella and has his/her reasons, I'm really loking forward to read them =)

I just thought that the stories were boring, and I hated the part where Dumbledore wrote it. Please no one feel offended. Please join this group: http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/2...
