I about half way through with House of Chains, really loving this series, its a challenge, but awesome. I was trying to read The Magicians, but could not get into it, just seemed very boring to me, anyways, I moved on to Sabriel which has gotten a lot of praise. Hope to finish HoC and move on to Midnight Tides.

LOve Shannara. I finished Rise of Empire and had to go straight on to Heir of Novron.

I feel you. I finished Theft of Swords and immediately grabbed Rise of Empire. It'll probably be the same with Heir of Novron, haha. I don't know how to explain exactly how, but Sullivan's series is different or refreshing. It's like the people and places are somehow new and interesting, but also familiar in a good way. I love the dialog.

2. The Kraken Wakes
3. The Man Who Fell to Earth
if i have time left
4. Lies Of Locke Lamora or The Name of the Wind im undecided between these two.

This month I will continue reading The Dark Tower. I'm on book V. Mostly seems like a rereading month. First up is The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms. Fool's Errand. And Mistborn. Might read The Eye of the World again too.

Ohh you'll love Mistborn!!!! Cinder is cute ... with a nice cliffhanger!!!
I loved Outlander ...
Nice choices!!!

Still reading Percepliquis and The High King's Tomb. Over half way through both. Both have been great.

It's a good solid juvenile fiction read, but I agree, not the best book in the universe though I'd argue that the series does a wonderful job of finishing a full arc. Nice, since many a trilogy will leave you hanging.

Reading To Kill a Mocking Bird as an adult is an entirely different experience then tackling it as an adolescent. Just started The Night Circus and have to say it's really got me hooked.

Good ones, Noor! I especially loved The Knife of Never Letting Go and the two that follow it.

It's really good stuff, the ending of the original trilogy left me with a bit of an empty feeling, so i have postponed reading it for some time.. There was no need though, this story is totally different and reads as kind of a fusion between a western and the previous novels.. It also has sort of a Urban Fantasy feel to it, which i like..

I have struggled with that too.. read half of it, then dropped it because i still felt the whole situation was more confusing than entertaining, and now it's just so hard to really get into it again.. I'm considering just reading the summary of it, and try my luck with the next book in the line.. (I hate rereading stuff i've already read once, and found boring)..

I believe if you look at the reviews you will find many people saying the same thing. GotM is a difficult read. I had heard this prior to beginning the book so I expected to have some troubles, but as you progress, the story slowly comes together, not all the way mind you, and gets much better. The 2nd and 3rd books are great, IMO and I am currently finishing up with the 4th. I think its like Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series on steroids.
@Mab: if you do want to just read a review of GotM, check out the reread for the series on Tor.com. Each of the first 5 books have very thorough and well written summaries.

Yess i read the reviews noting the difficulty of GotM. But i dont view it as difficulty understanding, its more the author made a conscious decision to leave the reader grasping the the dark. Ive decided to put it to the side. I enjoy reading large "epic" fantasy series. But after attempting the ffirst 200 pages of GotM ive become annoyed. And i need something more to get me to lock in on a 10 book series. I intend to pick up book 2 at some point in the future.

Now I've started The Alloy of Law.

I'm currently reading The Desert Spear by Peter V Brett and realling enjoying it.
