Here is a short story that I wrote. Don't be alarmed by the multiple chapters: the whole thing is under a thousand words.
It is set in a dystopian society where clones (alter egos) are like slaves of the 'People.' The story focuses on what one clone does to fight back.

Hi! i'd like to invite you to read my novel, I call it fate. It was basically a cute, light and funny love story. Janine has been crushing on this guy, Simon and everyday, she wishes he would notice. However, Simon has his eyes on someone else. So Janine had her heart broken. And there was Kris, her 2nd next best friend who's been telling her that there's more to life than Simon, how he smiles, the way he laughs, and the other "perfect" things about him. Janine began to realize the treasure life had for her. I really want to hear your critique be it good or bad. I'll be readying myself for a painful reality. :)) Thanks! Enjoy!

Hello everyone! I've just finished the first part of my novel, tentatively titled Merchandise. I would really appreciate some feedback/edits. I feel pretty confident about my grammar/syntax, but I would like help with the more abstract things like characterization/showing-not-telling/etc.

Chapter three of Searching for Empyrean (aka Tear the Sky Asunder) C'mon guys, does no one want to read the chappies I posted xD Got chapter two up, too, and only one or two people read it after quite a few read the prolongue and chapter one. Does no one like it anymore?

(also, some clarifications for those of you who read the former versions--there are going to be minor changes throughout the whole thing. Don't get confused or go, "Crap, did she forget what her characters look like?" No--I'm changing it so that it fits this particular version better. You'll see. Also, something else--I haven't proofread, so ignore any small grammacal errors or things that don't make complete sense)
