Jon Finkel | 2 comments How do I get rid of the edition with no cover or entries?

My name is Jon Finkel and I'm the author of the book I'm talking about: The Three Dollar Scholar.

I'd like to run some ads on GoodReads, but I don't want to do it until I can direct people to the correct version of the book.

Cloudedleopard | 139 comments I looked it up:
one is a kindle edition, the other an ebook edition. I combined those two first of all.

Is it correct that the book was published in two different formats? Then we should keep it like that and add a cover image (I suppose it is the same for both, then) and the description, text and info to both books. If there is only one edition available, then one should be deleted after putting all the info in the correct place.

Vicky (librovert) | 2462 comments The book is available for Nook and Kindle - so both editions should stay. I've added the cover to the eBook edition, and the description to the Kindle edition.

Since they've been combined by Cloudedleopard, you should be good to run ads to the book - if you direct users to one edition they will be able to see the other editions and find the one that pertains to them.

Jon Finkel | 2 comments Looks like you guys solved it. I don't know why there are two editions. Yes, the book is available in both Nook and Kindle, but I only registered it on Goodreads the one time. I searched by title and added it. From what I can see, all is now well. Thank you for the prompt response!

Either somebody else entered the other version or it was automatically imported from another source.
