so if everything Katherine&Klaus did after returning to MF got wiped out of everyones memory, did it happen or not? because if it did not happen, then how did Klaus die and why is he getting brought back? if he did not go to MF then get taken away by the unquiet spirits, who took him down?? this whole thing from Midnight has just confused me.

another thing, why have we not heard anything else about Caroline, shouldn't we have got told if she was pregnant or off to college with Elena's diary entry's or thoughts? where abouts is Tyler, and why no more word on Caleb??

when the guardians returned everything to normal, they could bring the humans who were killed back bu they said they couldn't bring back vampires so although it didn't technically happen their still dead as they couldnt bring them back.

It wasn't everything Katherine & Klaus did that got wiped out, but everything the kitsune did.

they didnt just wipe out what the kitsune did but everything that happened in the town due to the supernatural, because they brought vicky back and Klaus had killed her

elena said she wanted the town as if "klaus had never been there".
Everything that happened because of him, all those after affects. NEVER happened.

and technically laus is not dead, he was just "taken away to where he could never hurt anyone again".

(personally the TV series is better than the books though)
