Does anyone flash?

There's a great ( and free) collection on Smashwords, called 'Fright Four sixteen' where every story is EXACTLY 416 words. Shows what can be done.

I sometimes post flash whenever the urge strikes :)

Here's my full collection, 28 flash and short fiction in all genres.
Thought provoking, versatile tales.

Been there, Sherri. Thankfully not for a while. I wish you guidance and patience lol

Thanks Karina. I will need every bit of both.

I run www.solqushorts.com and we have had quite a bit of flash fiction submitted of late. An African author called Tracy Nnanwubar does it superbly and I'm increasingly of the view that, as a way of promoting a writers name and style, flash is the perfect way to write for the mobile phone / IPhone reader of today. Short, quick and done in a minute or two.
If you like writing flash and would love to submit some, we'd love to hear from you

I used to write a lot of drabbles and things in my fanfiction days, but in recent years I prefer a bit more space for my story to breathe.
I hope you enjoy.
