I've never heard of renting books before. I'm not sure I'd like it. I like to own the books I read (which is why my house is bursting at the seams). Isn't renting like borrowing from a library, only having to pay?

I'm with Elizabeth. I've never heard of renting books. If a book's worth reading, it's worth buying. You'll always have it available for rereading, reference and simply remembrance.
