I want all authors to know I've created an "Author Resource" folder in this group that I believe will help writers out when looking for resources for their book(s). This folder can be located just beneath the "Bulletin Board" folder, and it includes five key categories:

1) Author Bloggers, Reviewers, and Supporters
2) Book Cover Artists
3) Editors
4) Publishers
5) Website Designers

I picked these categories because my experience on this group has led me to believe that authors need these resources the most (I see these threads pop up again and again). So rather than have it all scattered about, I decided to make a folder that organizes these subjects to make them easier to find.

I hope it proves useful to our round table community.

Andrea Heltsley I've done my research and she is the best. She has done over 130 covers including all of Samantha Young's work and does work with the major publishers as well. She is a little pricey but well worth the quality job she does:) hope she helps and good luck;)

Karen A. Wyle (kawyle) | 278 comments Would you feel comfortable giving some idea of what "a little pricey" amounts to? I'm intrigued but pinching pennies.

Andrea Heltsley she runs over $500 but well worth it, she is really easy to work with an gives you prototypes until you are satisfied. she also automatically sizes it for creatspace and use on ebook as is. Her available works available for cover art is very vast. check her site, she will respond right away;0

I sent her an email a few days ago and had a reply from her the next morning. And her work is absolutely incredible. I'm in the same boat as you are, Karen, with the penny pinching though. :( Someday!

Andrea Heltsley I always feel that if I were to spend money on the book, I go with the cover because that is what draws people in to read about your book. We will see, my book releases April 10th:)

I'm excited for you, Andrea! And I agree on the cover being the part that draws people in...
