The script and the studio version
of films are often quite different.

You want a good one, try William Gibson's Alien3 script and see what could've been.

Another what-if: It's not on that site, but check out Harlan Ellison's I, Robot: The Illustrated Screenplay. It takes from the Citizen Kane plot-model and focuses on a reporter investigating a recently deceased US Robotics pioneer. Too bad they didn't go with this script, years ago.

Thanks for those recommendations. Some time I think the the movies they didn't make sound a lot better then the ones they did.
