Joseph (jpclarkson) | 1 comments Hi Everyone,

I have started my new author website (still in progress!) but I'd really love some feedback if anyone has the time. So far, it contains my blog, some of my work, my favourite books in a library, and external links to my favourite sites. I would like to add other features to it soon like author interviews etc.... I also want to add other authors blog/ website's links too, so if you would like a link then please let me know.

Thanks everyone, and very much appreciated indeed.

My website is: http://www.josephpclarkson.co.uk/

Thanks again.

message 72: by Kathleen (last edited Sep 21, 2012 07:51AM) (new)

Kathleen Maher (kathleenmaher) | 8 comments I've been writing serial fiction on a blog for five years. www.diaryofaheretic.com
It started because I was rewriting ten pages to death. Writing in public is an instant cure for that. The idea that someone might (would) read my fiction drove me to do little else. I'm going to miss the thrill--for me--of posting the best I can do once or twice a week. But I'm ready to rewrite three long serials I haven't seen in two or three years. A few of my blog serials, I've already rewritten. One ended up being run-of-the-mill and I've put it out of my misery. Another became Underground Nest, which I have as a novella on Amazon, www.goodreads.com/book/show/15787099-... I still need to write three or four posts to finish my last, longest serial, "James Bond and the Girls of Woodstock."
But in two or three weeks, I'll need to decide whether to delete my blog, Diary of a Heretic, (named after a novel I started ten years ago, which is so strange after countless rewritings I don't know what to with it.)
For a brief phase, the blog was more casual, more "here's what I think." Those posts made me squeamish while writing them and much more so when they were on the blog.

Rustin Petrae (rustinpetrae) | 51 comments Hello everyone. I wanted to let you all know that I just created my new author/graphic design website. It features free samples from Cat's Paw and Book One: Dragon and a blog that will have freebie short stories posted weekly. I will also have a section in mu blot called should be published authors. This will feature slef-published authors that I feel have awesome potential and should be published through a big publishing house. I'll also be posting my book and movie reviews there as well. It'll be full of great material and I hope you guys check it out.

Thanks, Rustin

Mary McFarland (marymcfarlandauthor) | 15 comments If you're like I am, then blogging came as a challenge to you. It took me two years to figure out how to integrate a topic I was passionate about into my blog. The topic, interestingly, finally grew from my book, and my voice, which I also had to learn to trust.

I finished my recent romantic suspense novel and I'm shopping it with great results, but whether I get published or not, I'm proud of my blog at http://romanceglobalbound.com/wordpre.... I promote global culture via visual romance mashups and cover art and cover models. Please join me, or it you'd like to guest blog, contact me. Thanks.

Steven Malone Hi Mary,

I've tried several times to take a look at your blog - no joy. My lap top said it couldn't open the page and my diagnostics couldn't find a reason.

You might want to click the link to see what the problem might be.
