Making Connections discussion

Hey everyone! I discovered the Best of Little-Known Authors listopia today. Since this group has a lot of indie-pubbed and small press-pubbed authors in it, I figured some of you might be interested.

Check out the list, you'll probably recognize a few names. A good author you know isn't in the list? Add them :)

Your votes will help them rise in the list and get a little more much-needed visibility.

I added my book yesterday and I dont see it on the list..it was 743rd..ugh

Do you see the list on your book page? Toward the bottom you should see a section that says Lists With This Book. If not, then I'd re-add. Something must have gone wrong.

Whoo-hoo! Congratulations, Justin! I've added my new book. Deadly Addiction is pretty much at the end of the list as well :)

I'm quite proud of myself- I added Sweet Blood of mine to that list like a month ago. Now it's #68. Makes me feel good!

No, I haven't - I'm open to reviewing them. Just be clear on the genre and intended audience and I'll give an honest and frank review (Frank is my middle name, after all :)).

If you are interested in a lighthearted story that's very different to the average zombie novel, just message me and I'll gift you a smashwords copy. As always, an honest review is all I ask.

I wanna add book by R.A. Sputnikoi.. guys he needs some help.. he is actually dying of HIV/AIDS.. he just wants to be read and be appreciated before he dies because the doctor said he can only live for maximum of two more years. and he is just 21!!!!!!

thank you so much. you make him smile. =P anyway, he just wanna enjoy his last days so he just want people to read him. He actually just gives his books to anyone who cares actually. He does not do it for profit.

And Steph, he is actually reading your book. We are actually making the reviews by tomorrow hahaha! We read it to each other. Anyway, Kristine, i voted for your book too!

hahaha actually authors are very fortunate when they choose me or r.a. as the reviewer because we always almost read it at the same time so they get two reviews for free =P I just made my own goodreads but I am updating. and two of our best friends are joining soon. We are making a book blog soon for all those writers who wants reviews from 4 people at the same time. =P

We love supporting independent authors like r.a. because the indie authors are the future of literature!!!!!! Indie authors have the best books and the best ideas =P

So guys let's vote wisely with this. There are a lot of good books in the list although I would love to see more of those I reviewed. Maybe I'll nominate them all.

Brilliant - I added Something Nice - 10 Stories, but I suspect I'm too obscure even for a list of little-known authors!

It's a shame that list has been filled in by fans of big pub. house authors; still neat though.
