Lana Bradstream | 19 comments I am at a loss. I am burned out, without hope. I have written a book and have gotten wonderful reviews. But, sales are pathetic, dismal, wretched. I've sold maybe 10 books since I released it for the Kindle and the Nook in November.
I've contacted blogs who have reviewed and written about it. Nothing.
What can I do? I am trying to find a way to help support my family and right now, this is my only option. Of course, I am applying for anything and everything I am qualified for. But, they are either not contacting me or are pyramid schemes.
I NEED to make this work! Will someone please help me? Any suggestions? Anything at all?

Judith Post | 391 comments My books went online on Valentine's Day, so I'm really new to marketing too. Still learning, but have you looked at Kristen Lamb's blog? --http://warriorwriters.wordpress.com/ It's a free way to start getting ideas to market your book. I bought John Locke's book, too, on marketing. (Don't have it to give you a title--loaned it to a friend), but it's a really fast read and practical. Both recommend Twitter. If you join Twitter, you can search for "writers," your favorite authors, etc. to "follow." If you read their comments, a lot of times they'll mention a blog that might give you ideas. Good luck!
