Anne (acoatar) | 9 comments I wish I would have read Chopsticks. It is a beautiful story and the experimental genre is inspiring.

Wintergirls, definitely. Laurie Halse Anderson captured so much of how I felt as a teen, and I would have found hope and voice in this book.

Lauren Kramer | 7 comments Who Ordered This Baby? Definitely Not Me! by Henry Winkler & Lin Oliver because I have young siblings and they were born when I was in middle school and starting of high school. So I know now what it's like to go through that process of having siblings being born when you are so grown up yourself. I wish I read this book during that time to help me get over that weirdness of me being a big sister "again."

Jennifer (jatalcott) | 11 comments I wish I would have read the book, 13 Reasons Why, in high school I dealt with a friend taking his own life and I think this book would have helped me deal with it a lot better.

Abby (abbyashcroft) | 10 comments I wish I would've read "Drum, Girls, and Dangerous Pie." I really enjoyed it and could relate to it!

Laina (lpilkenton) | 9 comments I wish I would have read Cut by Patricia McCormick. Cutting became an issue for some of my classmates and I never understood it. Now I understand why people do it and therefore have a better chance of talking about it.

Amanda (astahley3981) | 5 comments "Thirteen Reasons Why" would be my book of preference. I went to a small school and grew up in a very sheltered community. We didn't have the experiences that inner city school students had, similar to that of this novel. It would have really opened my eyes to how serious life is for some young adults.
