The Sword and Laser discussion

Haven't heard to much buzz about this but the 30 second trailer looked like it might be a good movie but I am leary of being taken in by the marketing...so any one have any ideas about this one?

I imagine it as an updated Escape From New York... Set in space - and I am not alone in that analogy from what I have seen online.

I am going to see the movie, I am not expecting it to win awards but it looks like a good time.

Ahaha, just had created a topic for this movie. Seems like fun and Guy Pearce is an awesome actor.

I saw the movie this weekend... It was fun if you do not think about it too hard - that is about all I can say.

Intentionally campy, it that is your thing then you will enjoy the movie, if campiness bothers you then skip this one.

I give it a rental at best.

thanks for the heads up. I will hold off and redbox this one as I was considering going tonight. I'll just save my money for The Avengers if a few weeks.
