I have the Max Allan Collins one, The Titanic Murders. I also have
.
Actually, I have 23 Titanic related novels, both fiction and non-fiction. Easier if those interested just look at my shelves as I have a TITANIC shelf. There are several mysteries among them.

Hey Kate!
Do we get extra credit if we watch any of the movies, documentaries or other related program? : D

Extra bonus. :) I'm planning on watching the History Channels 2 hour special on the anniversary night of the sinking (Sun, Apr 15th).

Darn, missed that. I hope they reair it. I didn't realize it was on, but probably would have ended up missing it anyway. With the midwest thunderstorms and tornado's that abounded last night, we lost satellite reception.

I also missed the four-hour series that aired Sat and Sun nights, and hope they will air again. I wasn't home over the weekend, and had no way of recording it while gone--though, as Kate mentioned, I probably wouldn;t have been able to watch it anyway with the weather. I don't have cable, and the wind gusts Friday night were irritating enough. The weekend storms would have disrupted the signal even more.

Enjoy"
Thanks Kari! I'll watch it when I get some free time.

April 1st - April Fool's Day - Spying in High Heels
April 15th - 100th Anniversary of Titanic's sinking. Bonus: Depth of Deception Awesome time-travel book about a woman who survived the sinking of the Titanic. Or did she?

1. April Fools:
2. Titanic: The Case of Cabin 13 by Sam McCarver

April 1st - April Fool's Day: Read any book that has a silly title.
Night of the Loving Dead by Casey Daniels
April 15th - 100th Anniversary of Titanic's sinking. Bonus: Read any Titanic themed book.
I looked for several Titanic-related titles at the used book store both last weekend and today, to no avail. So...will have to settle for rewatching the James Cameron directed movie.

I read Murder in a Hurry, a Pam and Jerry North mystery by Frances and Richard Lockridge. The heroine did something stupid - after being informed that she was probably in danger, she returned to the scene of the crime (it was not a good idea!).
April 15th - 100th Anniversary of Titanic's sinking.
Didn't read anything, but I watched a couple of shows about the Titanic.

The titanic category is rather specific, so I can understand if folks can't find books that are related to it. However, there are a heck of a lot of fictional books set on the doomed ocean liner that only floated for 5 days than one would think!

April 1st - April Fool's Day: Read any book that has a silly title. Get Thee to a Punnery: An Anthology of Intentional Assaults Upon the English Language-- finished 4/26/12, ★★★

April 15th - 100th Anniversary of Titanic's sinking. Bonus: Read any Titanic themed book. Gilded Lives, Fatal Voyage: The Titanic's First-Class Passengers and Their World -- finished 4/28/12, ★★★

Bonus - Watched ABC Titanic miniseries and the Len Goodman Titanic special

April Fool's-I couldn't decide which was worse: doing stupid things through the entire book, A Hoe Lot of Trouble by Heather Webber, or doing one colossally stupid thing at the end of the book, Scones & Bones by Laura Childs.
Titanic-I read Promise Me This by Cathy Gohlke which started with the Titanic and progressed through WWI. Since I wasn't sure that I would finish it in time (I did!), I read Titanicat by Marty Crisp to my preschool class.

Thank you. I'll have to look for it. It's one I don't have.

Walter Lord wrote the introduction to the book I'm reading right now by Robert Ballard about how he found the Titanic. The Discovery of the Titanic

April 15th - 100th Anniversary of Titanic's sinking. Bonus: Read any Titanic themed book. I know of several fictional mysteries that were written with them supposidly taking place on the doomed liner's cruise. Fiction or Non-Fiction... anything remotely Titanic themed counts.
Personally I'm reading Robert Ballard's personal account of his life's search for Titanic's final resting place and his discovery of having actual found the wreck and exploring it.
